I have a S&G pivot bolt model on my Fort Knox safe but it does not have a battery drawer. You have to rock the lock from side to side to remove it from the 4 mounting points or prongs on the base that is attached to the safe. Be careful not to disconnect or damage the wires connecting it to the safe. Inside are 2 9v batteries. Replace then and push the lock back into the mounting point or prongs. Done!
