However...I once bought a station wagon with a spare bolted and covered into the inside of the car in the rear. I went into an office building one morning and had to stay there all day. When i came out, my back window was shattered. When i approached the car, I saw a tire in the back compartment that had ripped open and had steel sticking out of it about 7 inches like a frayed rope. I was baffled. When i got home, my Dad came to look at it. Apparently someone had used flat-fixer spray in the tire then bolted it in as the spare. My Dad"s only guess was that it couldnt take the Florida heat inside that vehicle...although he'd never heard of that before. It may have had a bulge we didnt know about, but man, was I grateful that didnt happen while I was driving it!! 😬

I come from a family that has a bunch of different senses of humor...dry, comedic, slapstick, ETC...there's really so many types. I took this guys as kinda slapstick comedy because he was acting like the customer was telling him to sit, knowing full well he meant the dog. But the joke went completely over the customers head. Cause the delivery guy even said, 'OH! You meant the dog!' It's an older kind of comedy that you don't see a lot of these days but it's something I grew up with. Like obviously he was talking to the dog, the delivery guy was just trying to make the customer laugh. I've seen things like this in Albert and Costello and the 3 Stooges. Skits where they were doing things that were being said and meant for someone else because it didn't make sense for them to be doing it. But it was funny seeing them executing the action because of how preposterous it was for them to be doing it. I know it's a matter of opinion, I just thought I'd throw out what I saw and explain how I took it. I mean no disrespect to you or trying to start a debate, just another view. 😊

Maybe he slipped and had to reposition himself. The woman/teen might've been frozen in fear/excitement and didn't dare move. A few actor and circus performer friends who are limber/contortionists/gymnasts do these part-time, seasonal gigs.
It was probably one of those Halloween "haunted house" walk-throughs, but the woman either froze in fear, or wasn't aware that the dude in the "morph" catsuit had crept up so quietly on her (due to loud, recorded, spooky sounds), then slipped and managed to get back in place without her noticing.
