Why is this tomei sound tame? Sounds good an didn’t sound like shit lol
@DirtMuhgurt LOL i think most people remove their cats when they run a Tomei, but i still have them. It doesn't sound to me like i have cats, but it's not super loud in the cabin either

Awesome! It's got the stock cats still, and i feel like no one ever puts a Tomei on w/o removing them 😂 .. It also has a super ratchet y-pipe.. i'm gonna be switching the sound up even more this week 🤘🤘🤘

I ve been debating a Motordyne or Tomei exhaust but after this Tomei is killin it
My 1st G was a 05 G35 coupe manual back in 09 put like 15k$ into the car did almost everything except turbo. stillen exhaust test pipes y pipe injen intake cold air 19 in wheels with 285s tires in the rear coilovers light weight pulleys intake manifold performance chip also tuned it headlights lip spoilers grill swap stage 3 racing clutch changed master cyclinder and lightweight flywheel camberkit racing ignition coils and plugs slotted rotors etc...
My 2nd 2011 auto was a G37 coupe IPL in 2018
My 3rd was in 2021 another 05 G35 coupe auto
And now in 2023 an 04 auto G35 coupe. Its pretty hard to find a decent condition manual in Miami fl
Deep love for these vq coupes
Hopefully an R34 or R35 GTR one day

@Good Ol Boy #76 i was told 3.5" on N/A would be poo on the dyno, but i agree and want to hear it.

I idle mine until it's a 1,100RPM then take it easy (under 4K) until it's fully warmed up. Anyway, looks strange with only one tail pipe.
As an aside, what do you think is a reasonable time for replacing both serpentine belts and the pulley on a 2006 (electric fan)?
There's a possibility i'll be replacing the internals sometime this year 😈 The single exit will have better power numbers once it's all built and tuned.. It's also super crazy light
Serpentine belts should be replaced whenever they show signs of cracking.. Bearings whenever they wobble; you'll know if there's any play once you remove the belt
@@milsgarage Mine are squealing and the pulley has never been replaced in the 15 years I've owned it (so basically never (93,800 miles)) - just want to know what a fair labor time I should pay.
BTW, while stock, after all this time I'd like to look into MotordyneG35 350HP build just to keep up with the new cars having more HP lol

We have a customer right now with a 2009 G37, and 3 of the pulleys are bad. Any type of squealing will give it away, but you'll know for sure if there's wobble. There are factors that go into the job that can affect the prices, but if you need the job done we can absolutely take a look and we can figure that out
350hp? Did he do internals? My plan is to make it so i can hold my foot on the gas and bounce off the governor for an irrational amount of time lol

If I recall, he did it via plenum spacer, exhaust, etc. His is a 2005 6MT where mine is a 2006 5AT but 350HP would be a nice bump.
