I lived in the countryside of Northern New York most of my life. There are a lot of VERY old hidden cemeteries deep in the woods out there. Its fascinating to find one. Very interesting video!
Makes you wonder if anyone remembers any of the people buried in them. I attended a funeral in New Mexico way up on a mesa and some of the graves were very old and not even identifiable. I wondered the same. Did anyone still visit or even know who rested there.
@mysticody They way some of them looked, overgrown and hidden, I doubt anyone has been to the ones I've found in many many years. The stones were dated from the late 1700s, and the newest one I could find was 1888. So I think it was long forgotten. These are country cemeteries, maybe 20-30 grave stones at the most.

@TomKennedy-no8om it’s a good chance with those graves I filmed they would be long forgotten about 🙁
Beautiful though.

M.D stands for Doctor of Medicine (Medical Doctor), not Mayor.
