- A short demo to showcase the tone of my new Overload Achilles bass.
What you hear is the raw, unprocessed tone straight from the bass, needless to say how much I love Nordstrand pickups, the Big Blades deliver the beefy low end while keeping clarity on highs and mids.
This bass feels so comfortable with every technique and genre, I simply love it; a big shout-out to the guys at Overload Guitars for building this dream of an instrument!
sounds and looks amazing!
Thanks! 🙏
That thing gives Dingwall a run for its money. Discovered the brand after seeing Jinjer live. Sounds sweet 🤘🏻
Thanks mate! It is indeed one of the best and most comfortable basses I've ever owned and played! Not only it looks badass, but it sounds awesome too! 🔥🤘
The base player for Infected Rain and Hand of Juno plays one too. I'm seriously considering this bass after seeing how it plays in the mix.
@@redactedxx4219 you won't regret it!
Thanks for the demo. These basses sound amazing
They really do! And they look amazing too! 🖤🔥
Hey bro, nice playing!
Just a question; is this bass the 35” or the 37” variant?
Thanks
@@Adhok77 many thanks man!
This is the 37" scale version, the low B sounds HUGE
I know a grand total of 2 luthiers making headless multiscale basses at this scale length and they're both from Italy. Funny how that works, sometimes.
Yep, I think you're referring to MRK Guitars, they make great instruments too!
If I'm not wrong, the Legator Wraith is 37" on the B string
@@federicomaverickbricchi8647 I was thinking Negrini Guitars actually but now I see he might be Swiss-Italian 🤔
Two and a half now, then 😅
@@MellonVegan ah yes! How could I forget about Negrini Guitars??? He's Italian but living and wotking in Switzerland, as I read on the website
sounds clean as all hell. rad.
Thanks mate! I'm really impressed by the natural tone of this bass, so clear and articulated
😍
Grazie mille! 😍🔥🙏
I'm still waiting for my bass. How long have you been making this ...?
Mine was almost an ex demo I could choose a couple of options (pickups, hardware), but the bass was essentially ready, hence I waited for like 2-3 weeks
@@federicomaverickbricchi8647 God, I've been waiting for 5 months. Haven't started building yet.
@@SeanChang14 I'm afraid waiting times have sensibly gone up post Covid... I guess you just need to be a little more patient and you won't be disappointed, these basses are absolutely AWESOME 🔥
@@federicomaverickbricchi8647 That's right, I keep waiting. Overload must be faster than Dingwall. LOL
@@SeanChang14 and they are indeed 🤣
