    I use Canva to create certificates for my students in PDF format. I would like to know how I could generate them automatically by simply inserting their first and last names, as well as the date. Is it possible to use variables in Canva, similar to date variables in Google Slides? Thanks in advance

      I'd recommend using Google slides. One of my videos goes over it, but I can specifically do one for this use case if you prefer

      I assume you have a website that you built on the canva website, correct? If so, you have a couple of options:
      You can also add a button to a Canva website by:
      Going to canva.com/button/build
      Using HTML attributes to configure the button's appearance and behavior
      You can also add a navigation menu to a Canva website by:
      Tapping Preview on the menu bar above the editor
      Selecting With navigation from the dropdown
      Let me know how it goes

    Is there some sort of expiration token on the URL that google slides generates? The reason I ask is because the day after I create an image with google slide via this make scenario, the URL is no longer available, I get a 403 forbidden error. The URL appears to only be usable for the same day that the image is created. Have you encountered this? Thanks

      Yes, you're correct! The URLs generated by Google Slides for exported images are temporary and often expire within 24 hours, which is why you're seeing the 403 Forbidden error. To resolve this, you can add a step to your Make.com scenario to download the image and save it to a permanent location, such as a Google Drive folder. This ensures the image has a persistent URL for future use. Let me know if you'd like more details on how to set that up! Thanks for watching!

      So sorry, I didn't see your reply (I wasn't notified). After the 2nd google slide module, add in a Google Drive, Upload a file module (map the content link from the 2nd google slide module). You can also try it with Dropbox if Google Drive is being finicky.

    Hi, how can I make it also take an image from the RSS and place it in the design?

    • @NaiLD-it-ai
      @NaiLD-it-ai  6 дней назад

      Well, it depends on if the original article has an image. Most do. If so, you should see an image URL in the output of the RSS module. You can link that to say a cell in google sheets. I hope that helps.

      @NaiLD-it-ai Ok, I'll try that. Thanks!
