Great video Dave! Could you tell us more about that vest you’re wearing? I’m looking to find one similar. It seems very practical and versatile with the big pockets. All the ones I found seems pretty cheap. Cheers.
Good video! When you use earth anchors, are they "one & done", or do you dig them up if you're moving your trap site? Thanks for all the info & simple perspective!
I was taught by an old trapper, Buckshot said to have Conibears 1, 330, 2, 220s and 4. 110s and 1 dozen snares per every man woman and child for survival.
Hi Dave, unrelated to video topic, do you have any suggestions to keep ferro rods from turning to dust? Recently checked some new still in the package rods i bought 11 years ago and they were turning to dust. Stored inside climate controlled environment, never used or wet. Thanks!
Could you remind me the style of pack frame that has a shelf on it that can be used for a 5 gal bucket? Like Alice pack but a shelf coming off the bottom
I have horrible results on coyote when I keep my lure/bait anywhere near the traps, tools, pan covers ect... I end up catching foxes. I have been using sheep's wool under pan rather than covers w good results
I got these brand new traps theyre 110 connibears they seem near impossible to set ive only ever sucessfully set them once most other time im nearly breaking my hand is there any advice you have for making brand new traps slightly easier to set im a very strong individual but these 110s are somethin else. Wd40? That has a smell tho
I will watch this video when i get out of work. It sounds very interesting. Even though im assuming you dont mean "the predator " trap that arnold made to stop the predator... :/ ill still check it out 😅
no ammo? i figured you'd carry an extra 20 rounds of 22. by the way MTM case gard makes some nice ammo carriers and storage boxes for ammo if your looking!
Isn't it just nice to see Dave Canterbury at his best, keep schooling the millennial dreamers Dave, for they THINK that they can show material that u haven't already shown in the last 20+ years.
I'm just happy to exist in a time where a wealth of knowledge can be provided just a few clicks away.
Indeed👍
Great demo and kit, trapper basket is underrated in general such a good piece of gear.
One of my favorite classes!! Every class just keep getting better!!
thanks Dave! makes me want to rewatch the whole series .....i think i will!
I love how you explain trapping.
Thanks for the informative video. Looking forward to
more trapping videos soon
Please don't take any of the
old videos down. They're a
good reference
Great video Dave, If I lived in the U.S. I would definitely come on some of your courses. Bit far to travel from the U.K.

Are you going to make some videos on using these tools, or do you already have them out?
Hey Dave, would you be willing to include 6 large rat traps to your tarp kit to test effectiveness?

Outdated I would say honestly
Great minimalist mate. Cheers from Australia.

Where do you put snares?
If my intentions are to snare the pack contents change as said this is for Poland predator trapping
Do you ever use bait at your dirt hole sets if so what kind of bait do you use
Could you remind me the style of pack frame that has a shelf on it that can be used for a 5 gal bucket? Like Alice pack but a shelf coming off the bottom
Thanks Dave
Anyone know where i can get that trapping pack??
