I was horrified as I was imagining some Google personnel climbing Fuji, which isn't a cakewalk by itself, with a heavy ass camera on his back but then I realized we aren't in 2000.
Those times were kind of a thrill though. They'd have a gang of peeps roaming about, climbing exciting hills, scouring over landscapes, all for the sake of a Virtual Earth Trip Simulator.
Honestly, that sounds like a hell of a cool job.
That's justified considering that IS how they did it. They hauled a 360° camera while climbing mount Fuji. First i don't think drone are allowed on the mountain and you can sometimes see the shadow of the camera.
Yeah uhh, thats exactly what happened. it's even worse though, as they have to do more than once to update the map. Though dunno if it's every year or every couple of years.

The Gyari Vtubers are probably the most unique I've seen design wise.
She's part of the VOMS team and they all have these kind of flat style designs that I find really appealing. The other two are Tomoshika Hikasa and Pikamee.

This was the first video I saw of her. It hurts so much.
If she's that excited about tunnels and mountains, I'd love to see her reaction to West Malaysia's Menora tunnel on the North-South Expressway and the landscape that surrounds it. Travelling north to south, you first go through a massive bend that goes along the side of some hills, so on one side you've a cliff, and on the other is a lush valley dense with foliage and vegetation. The Menora tunnel punches through a mountain, and out the other side, there is a vista point overlooking this lovely valley, with clouds and fog wisping through the towering rainforest.
Continuing south, past a gravelly roadside where cars with faulty brakes can swerve into to stop, you can see the valley giving way to a wider plain. The highway steadily descends down the mountain range into the base of the Kinta Valley, and between the trees you catch glimpses of buildings far in the distance. The highway gets wider, the trees gets sparser, and a single building to your right would mark the transition into the sprawling state capital, Ipoh.
Ipoh itself is not very eye-catching. However, the site where the city lies today was once a seabed, which after hundreds of millions of years had built up substantial patches of limestone. When the continents collide giving rise to the Peninsula, this limestone layer through eons of erosions evolved into spectacular karst formations - limestone hills around which this former tin-mining town was built. Further south, the highway snakes around these hills, and you get a wonderful view of the caves that eroded into these hills, before you reach the exit to Simpang Pulai which roughly marks the end of the Kinta Valley.
I've traveled through this bit of West Malaysia many many times throughout my life, and the beauty of it all never ceases to amaze me. I've yet to learn how to drive, but one day when I do, I'll be sure to actually stop at these places and just... soak in the view. One of these days. Before the mighty, dirty engine of urbanization went and claim it all.

I'm more impressed that someone walked all the way up Mount Fuji with a Google street view camera.
They dont use the standard camera for those. They have the more slimmed down for trail capturing.
You need to remember that someone need to stock the vending machine on top of mount Fuji if you're impressed by a man with camera.

I don’t know why but I am finding Monoe’s content to be very relaxing. It’s the voice I think but it might be more.
The trail view of Mt. Fuji gave me flashbacks to watching Yama no Susume (Encouragement of Climb). Especially the view of the clouds surrounding you, and the chains lining the trail. I really love that show, makes you actually feel like you've climbed the mountain.
The view of the "country side" also made me start missing Non Non Biyori. So many shows I didn't think I'd want to rewatch today.
Have you tried Yuru Camp? Because if not-let me introduce you to your new favorite chill outdoorsy anime of all time. (Seriously, it's that good.) Flying Witch is also really awesome.
@@BlissBatch You don't have to tell me how good Yuru Camp is, i know. I just finished Heya Camp (Room Camp) not too long ago too.
Personally wouldn't quite put it above Yama no Susume (because i can't really see myself tearing up to Yuru Camp), but yes it is comfy as heck and seriously enjoyable.

Wow her model seems a lot more expressive than a lot of members from hololive or nijisanji and even better it looks like her videos are really fun to watch, sadly i don't speak japanese so i probably won't watch her videos that often
truth be told, outside of talk streams VOMs is very non JP speaking friendly. all of them are incredibly expressive and so far haven't streamed any games that require knowledge of japanese, also there's Pikamee who's bilingual (english/japanese)
