As previously stated in the community post, the content using the old voice model has all been removed. I am in the process of reworking, and reproducing the old videos to be narrated with this new voice, and I hope that it retains the similar feeling of gravitas. To any who are curious, this new voice is not based upon a real person, it is a rather impressive model from Elevenlabs which I think is quite fitting for a narration purpose. In any case, thank you to any who were willing to give this a second chance, I hope that these videos continue to be entertaining despite the changes.
The attenborough videos were a legitimate sleeping pill, my only request is that the new voice maintain atleast some of the calm softness. This current voice sounds like the Crimson Chin
It would be super cool if you could get a couple voices. A commisar, inquisitor, guardsman, ork, ect. Im sure the other Warhammer creators here would be happy to help you. Aborder Prince has the BEST commisar and inquisitor voices
I'm a fan of ork lore. but you will definetely need subtitles for the entire video xD, and you need to put some work on how a ork talk. seems simple but i'm sure it got it's issues.
I want to start off by saying that I am so glad that you haven't given up in spite of the recent setbacks. I absolutely love this channel and am in awe of your writing skills! That said, I have mixed feelings about the new voice which is what initially drew me to this channel. While the new voice is very much in keeping with the tone of 40k, I used these videos as a sleep aid. Having something to focus on while I drift off helps me immensely, and I'm sure I'm not the only person in this boat. The harshness of the new voice may be a bit hard to fall asleep to, but I will eagerly give it a shot. I hope it is possible to tone down the "harshness" (for lack of a better word) of the new voice and inject some of the Attenborough "gentleness" back in. Thank you for this channel and I hope you continue to write and create for many years to come. :)
You think this is harsh? I've already "test driven" this voice, so to speak, and it's just as good for sleeping. I never got the obsession with Attenborough's narration, and I like that it's more original now, though I'd like to see some other characters.
I agree, altough i have yet to try sleeping to the new voice, i think it'll be fine. While i do miss Attenboroughs voice for its gentleness, as long as this new voice (or any other new voices) don't have sudden changes in intensity/pitch, i hope it'll be just as fine to sleep to. :)

I LOVED beyond measure... your channel and videos, because it was top tier content for listening to while trying to fall asleep. I love the writing and I really do like this new voice, for what it is. But what it is not is a sleep inducing voice and that does indeed make me sad. New voice sounds like the imperium, which is awesome... but man listening to attenbro lul me to sleep with my favorite lore written in grade A+ fashion was... well it'll go down as memory now. Other channels have tried to do the same but they haven't even come close to your Attenbro perfection, it was truly 100% unmistakably believable and it will be missed gravely.
I will miss the attenborough's calm demeanour, but shall continue to support! Perhaps if you are to experiment with AI voices there is another 'old man's voice that would befit the role of aged scholar and Wiseman? I feel the current is too young if that makes sense?
Ah man! Such a loss. Not too sure if it was due to probable copyright issues or just a personal choice by you, but Sir AI Attenborough voice brought some regalness and a sense of investigation to the topics of the Warhammer universe. Honestly, I'm not happy with the change.....but, the new voice has it's own grand presence I can get behind. Luckily I was able to download the audio for quite a few of the old videos, at least I still have something. God Emporer Speed Sir AI Attenborough!
Attenborough's voice may have been great, but I'm ultimately happy that your channel and writing is still around. The voice can change, but if the content still endures then why should we complain. Keep it up man!

This new voice is pretty good; and besides, if you find a better one or want to alter or improve this one you can just.. do it. I guess that's the benefit of using AI voice models ;) Let us never forget, it's the high quality of the writing that fundamentally makes this channel's content so amazing. I don't know if I'll stick around to be honest. The writing and presentation is still quite good. But the voice was the reason for me to binge these multiple times. I listened to them in bed before sleeping and the soft, calm and fragile voice made it perfect. This voice is to rigid, dominant and assertive I feel. But I'll definitely try to get into it for a few videos as I know the effort and love you put into this!

I think a slower pace with ample pauses would be better turned to your writing style. The heavy vocabulary is great for the subject matter, but needs a moment to soak in before the next stanza.
The new voice is a bit harsh in tone, but that's a small price to pay for the continuation of this channel. I wasn't following you for the voice-I was following for the bite-sized lore videos, which still remain as good as ever. Without this channel tied to a single specific voice, perhaps you can develop several! Different narrators for different species would be fascinating. Good luck, and thanks for not giving up! This new voice is really good! It has the right gravitas and feel to it. Although, you should be more careful with the pronunciations, perhaps double check. "irrevocably" and "iridescent" aren't pronounced that way, should've done a second take. At 14:53 it sounds like he says "Ludzgun" rather than "Lasgun".

Id go with the suggestion of a few different voices maybe do a few comunity polls and vids with a few options and get feedback on voices to use. please keep this up though its highly interesting and entertaining.

I'd like to hear it speak at a slightly slower rate, as it feels just a bit rushed and I prefer narrators who sound like they are savouring the material. Perhaps "age" it a bit so it isn't so "hygienic". As a reference I'd offer up J.K. Simmon's VA work as Ketheric Thorm in Baldur's Gate 3 (ruclips.net/video/qOqD3uATwSc/видео.html&ab_channel=LarianStudios). Those are just my thoughts though. Don't worry in any case - your writing and production were always the best part of this channel, I'm definitely here for the rebuild and looking forward to future content, and I think a lot of others are too.
I love the new voice, it’s very fitting. The Attenborough voice was funny the first few times but it quickly got old and I couldn’t stop thinking of animal planet upon watching!
Make the voice like 1.1 or 1.05 times slower. Just a little notch. Something about how it speaks „immaterium“ „ephemeral“(as well as a few other words) is unnaturally fast. The problem is that other words are spoken at the absolute bottom slowness of still fast enough. It’s like it wants to speak every word equally long. The voice is good but lacks the „special something“ that lets me visualize it. Attb. was an old fighter in golden armor without helm, strong chin and reading glasses that has a paper roll from his background wall filled with old tomes. This voice is more like a businessman-librarian without features.
I think the new voice is slightly over the top. I liked the previous one more. Would it not be enough just to remove the name Attenborough and his pictures? Can you copyright a voice these days? Or maybe alter it slightly. I don't know...but the new voice is kind of overacting a bit. But that's just me. In any case, keep up the good work!

Writing has always been good. This voice you are using now still carries that aged, sagely feeling. It may not be Attenhammer, but its still great to listento this.

Make the voice like 1.1 or 1.05 times slower. Just a little notch. Something about how it speaks „immaterium“ „ephemeral“(as well as a few other words) is unnaturally fast. The problem is that other words are spoken at the absolute bottom slowness of still fast enough.
It’s like it wants to speak every word equally long. The voice is good but lacks the „special something“ that lets me visualize it. Attb. was an old fighter in golden armor without helm, strong chin and reading glasses that has a paper roll from his background wall filled with old tomes. This voice is more like a businessman-librarian without features.

I think the new voice is slightly over the top. I liked the previous one more. Would it not be enough just to remove the name Attenborough and his pictures? Can you copyright a voice these days? Or maybe alter it slightly. I don't know...but the new voice is kind of overacting a bit. But that's just me. In any case, keep up the good work!

Even though this voice sounds like Tony Jay which is no bad thing. The Attenborough one just hit differently. It's a shame some asshole felt like they had to remove all your hard work for what? But at least you can still make videos.

Writing has always been good. This voice you are using now still carries that aged, sagely feeling. It may not be Attenhammer, but its still great to listento this.
