I love your gardens Maria but it must be hard work I agree with you about the veggies you can get some lovely flowering shrubs that are hardy and take little time to care for plus they fill a big space I’m sure you’ll figure it out did you have much left over food from your party ❤️😊

It is very time consuming at the height of the season. I'm hoping growing flowers will save us more time and money, plus they'll look pretty in the garden.
The food was all eaten from the buffet. What was left was taken for packed lunches, so no waste. 😊

Oh Maria it is so disheartening that you and Dean are putting so much into the garden and you are getting nothing much back. I think you will be right to have a complete change and flowers would be so uplifting for your spirits and look beautiful. My favourite flower is daffodils ive simple tastes but i do love the flowers with fragrance sweet williams, stocks and sweet peas x

That's true, flowers will lift our spirits and they're great for the bees. Daffodils are nice, they're a great introduction to the spring. I forgot about sweet Williams, I do like them! There's so many lovely flowers out there, I can't wait to try growing some. Thank you for watching 😊

We hardly got anythingboff our raspberry canes wither. I might just cut them back as well.
I think what you said at the beginning anout 1 lettuce and its took all summer to grow about somes up this year doesnt it? Uve gad about 2 leaves off my golden Virginia i think the rest will go to waste because the weathers just not been sunny enough . Your right to take a break from veg if its become a depressing chore. Lots of flowers will cheer you up and look lovely x from Victoria x

It's not been a brilliant year this year. I'm looking forward to trying some flowers next year, hopefully it'll be a better year. I'll still have all my fruit and I may do some runner beans in tubs. x
