You know what made this episode superb? The ✨ voice acting ✨. Especially of Dabi and Shoto. Like that "Dad pls move already" while crying. You really feel that he's suffering too. Also u got that mockery laced with hatred voice of Dabi. Like superb voice acting. This is also the reason why we, manga readers, are equally excited and thrilled and wait every week to watch the animated scenes. Because although we already know what's going to happen, it still feels different with the voices and the music and everything. Especially if it's animated and voiced well. And MHA is definitely doing it really well (for me at least, because i know that there are still haters out there but who cares, i love MHA). Tho, tbh i really don't know who to blame anymore. I understand Dabi, where he's coming from. So, I'll just blame AFO😎🤟🏼

We'll get Dabi's backstory within the next few episodes of season 6. And afterwards, what happened to him after that forest fire incident or how he survived will be revealed in season 7. I'll just say... Dabi's whole backstory is full of nothing but sadness.

I feel the WORST of Shoto. Seeing his brother alive, watching his father down and and accepting death then hearing him crying and begging his dad to move just killed me. The VA went nuts. My boy's been through a lot.
i felt it was worse towards Rei(Mom) in the manga, the nurses where running to turn off the TV so she wouldn't see it ,but it was too late. she was already suffering mentally seeing her first child being alive and in such state and a terrorist?

Ill just say one thing here, Jeanist easily becomes one of my favorite heroes from this point on, you'll see why. Despite the fact he was just randomly introduced as a top hero that got injured early in the series He's basically a huge part of the series from this moment onward
Studio bones did not disappoint with there animation for dabi and his voice actor killed it😁👍 but seeing shoto cry and call endeavor dad broke my heart🥺🥺
Dabi s timing was perfect. Regardless of everything once your home and city is destroyed its already hard to have full faith that the heroes really did their best. But once you hear that the no1 hero is a piece of shit whose kid is the reason why your home is destryed and no 2 hero is some villains kid...? Realistically Endeavour just got canceleld forever...theoretically maybe he could just be a nobody hero in the future once the public starts forgetting (like some underground work), but Dabi successfully just killed his reputation forever, Endeavour wont ever be fully trusted by the public even if some of the stuff Dabi says is disproved. Horikoshi really went in and used a modern way of destoryign sb - through destroying their public image...once your image and reputation are tarnished, you can be alive, but you are dead to the society.
I absolutely loved this episode! I can't wait for the rest of his upcoming backstory so anime only's will finally understand why so many manga readers hate Endeavor and why he doesn't deserve his redemption arc. Endeavor's role in Touya's death is honestly so horrific and horribly sad

I think dabi didnt lie about anything, he said "one of hawks victim is best jeanist and he is still recovering from injuries", I guess the subtitle messed up the meaning where he said best jeanist was killed by hawks.
Best Jeanist was recovering from his fight with All for One. So killing him while he was recovering is accurate (at least accurate as far as he knows).
Nope, as far as dabi knows jeanist is supposed to be dead he checked it himself. you'll learn later how that happened. And dabi also lied about twice thing and edited that video to make it seem like hawks killed twice for no reason which is far from true. Once hawks properly explains why he did what he did, no one will blame him after that after seeing the damage villains caused.

While Endeavor is getting what he deserved, Dabi's thinking he's hurting him by destroying his rep. and his dream (with the truth), but that's not what's hurting him here. That would have been the old Endeavor. The current one has changed into a person who's hurt by what his oldest son has become, and knowing he's responsible for it. And also that even after trying to help the family heel from the pain and suffering he cause, Dabi is now trying to undo that heeling to get back at him (and them). (All while canceling all the heroes - current and former - and the Hero Society as a whole.)
tho the Mom & siblings don't deserve this kind of shock, especially Natsu since he always brings up Toya whenever his mad at Endeavour, and Toya always cries to Natsu.
@@raijin7793 Agreed. But Endeavor not the only one he blames for his suffering, just the main one. He pretty much also blames everyone else who's not a villain, which would (possibly) include the other family members. It could be he's also mad at them for not helping him, or even for not having the ability to help him.
The story is obviously selfish villain desperately trying to argue with fallacies. I can't understand why some people can't see clearly that "poor villain must have something to hate".
I disagree. Dabi was groomed into fulfilling his father's goal his whole life only to be tossed aside when he couldn't meet his expectations and was then ignored by him without getting any help after he had a mental breakdown, then after the trauma of literally completely burning alive, as a child no less, and spending 3 years in a coma in an unfamiliar place, he comes back home so he could apologise to his mom and sister only to see that Endeavour had seemingly moved on and replaced him with another child. I don't blame him for snapping at all and I heavily doubt he would have turned out to be the way he is now if he had a better family life and support system.

Nope, as far as dabi knows jeanist is supposed to be dead he checked it himself. you'll learn later how that happened. And dabi also lied about twice thing and edited that video to make it seem like hawks killed twice for no reason which is far from true. Once hawks properly explains why he did what he did, no one will blame him after that after seeing the damage villains caused.

While Endeavor is getting what he deserved, Dabi's thinking he's hurting him by destroying his rep. and his dream (with the truth), but that's not what's hurting him here. That would have been the old Endeavor. The current one has changed into a person who's hurt by what his oldest son has become, and knowing he's responsible for it. And also that even after trying to help the family heel from the pain and suffering he cause, Dabi is now trying to undo that heeling to get back at him (and them). (All while canceling all the heroes - current and former - and the Hero Society as a whole.)
tho the Mom & siblings don't deserve this kind of shock, especially Natsu since he always brings up Toya whenever his mad at Endeavour, and Toya always cries to Natsu.
@@raijin7793 Agreed. But Endeavor not the only one he blames for his suffering, just the main one. He pretty much also blames everyone else who's not a villain, which would (possibly) include the other family members. It could be he's also mad at them for not helping him, or even for not having the ability to help him.

I disagree. Dabi was groomed into fulfilling his father's goal his whole life only to be tossed aside when he couldn't meet his expectations and was then ignored by him without getting any help after he had a mental breakdown, then after the trauma of literally completely burning alive, as a child no less, and spending 3 years in a coma in an unfamiliar place, he comes back home so he could apologise to his mom and sister only to see that Endeavour had seemingly moved on and replaced him with another child. I don't blame him for snapping at all and I heavily doubt he would have turned out to be the way he is now if he had a better family life and support system.
