I've been unemployed for almost 9 months now 😔 Got so many rejections, it's been eating away at my confidence and I'm just so tired now... I'm yet again waiting for answer to a (another) PhD I applied for, but I just have this nagging feeling I won't be getting it, like all the previous times... It's just really hard recently to cope with. I feel like your worth in other people's eyes decreases to almost nothing when you don't have a job. I feel like the biggest loser in the world at 28F. My friendships are fading ... Never even dated. Chronic illness. I just don't know what to do anymore. Anyway thanks for sharing your struggles, made me feel less alone at least
Thank you for this new video! I am also experiencing a lot of faliures on my dream pursuing journey! I spent two years jobless to polish my drawing skills to find a full time job at the game industry. I have submitted almost 100 applications but to no avil. Right now, I have a part-time job as an digital drawing tutor. It supports me financially, but also gets rid of half of my time to polish my art porfolio for game companies. But I am still holding on!!! I have been watching your videos for almost a year, they have given me so much encouragement and made me feel like I am not alone! I hope someday I can see both of us succeed!
I love your persistence and determination to succeed! I've quit my job to try to make it a life coach and public speaker, and am rather new along this journey (3rd month thus far). Have been watching Joy ever since I've the intention to quit, I'm sure we will all make it some day 🎉

I don't know if it will make you feel better or not but you're the inspiration of me not quitting my full time job lol I at least understand how tough it is to live off from saving mentally from watching your video. Speaking for us struggling and sensitive souls out there! You've grown a lot, and growth hurts, understanding things a lot more and certain realities. Just have to keep going, whether delusional or not. It's all an experience, try to be happy despite the things that happen, we're all human after all. :)
Love your determination. Everything will work out eventually joy. Keep doing what you need to make sure you launch that product. I believe everything else will fall in place as you go. Also in my late 20's working on a startup yet to be launched. so yeah i understand you because i feel what you feel.

I want to do exactly what you're doing and so i'll be taking a path very similar to yours, so you're a few steps ahead of me. So, I'm 28 and I don't have much of a "career" right now since I'm wanting to branch out into my own thing, I don't have a boyfriend, I don't know where I belong as yet and to top it off I don't know how to ride a bike (lol)... I'm just here really wanting to pursue my dream to create. Thank you for sharing your journey, it's helpful for people like me :)
