DISCLAIMER: I am not paid to promote any specific products or brands; I just use the products I find work best for me through my experiences. There is no reason for me to promote a bad product, as then I would not enjoy using it, not like the result on my model, and not be proud of publicizing it in a video. There's also no point in me doing this to keep up relations with a company if the only benefit would be getting more of the same products that I didn't like. I have not used every product out there, but from what I have used, I keep using the products I like, and that's why I use them in my videos. You can use whatever other products you would like to and you can feel that they are better - that is your opinion, and is perfectly fine by me, thus I hope that feeling is reciprocated. Хобби
"Yeah this is enough" - no one ever
More like "oh s*** I got carried away... again!"
Looking sharp Evan, almost done!
Thank you Martin :)
Keep it up
OMG !!! Every Friday it gets better. This healthy habit is transforming into panzershiftcopedia.
Awesome job, I also put a little loose dirt on the rear because the tankers have it on their boots filling the fluids
Great and controlled weathering, your and Martin's work are very inspiring. Thanks and have a great weekend.
you are the reason I got into modeling. It has improved my life so much and I thank you for it. Keep up the brilliant work you legend!!!😁👍🤟
I like the subtlety of the effect. When youre doing multiple effects I think it pays to be subtle, as they add up and its possible to over do it.
Good closeup photography, good editing, good explanation. Overall a great and easy to follow tutorial. Well done.
Your video is always easy to understand, because you put every colors step by step. Actually, the leaked oil and fuel would became more blackish by adsorbed dust. So, we should try more and more. Thank you !!
Looks great, really liking the way this is coming together!
Absolutely brilliant video love the work that you do keep the good work up
Well done Evan! Some nice effects, I will have to give them a try. Thanks 👍
Awesome effects made to look easy. Your skills are amazing and thank you for sharing 👍
Superb weathering bro. Totally gonna try this out!
Your engine deck looks great and the fuel stains were a success!
Amazingly realistic technique. Well done, sir.
Perfect. Thanks for the info on the products. Alot of modelers leave out the brands they use, again thanks.
Good job!!! Very realistic. I'm always learning with you and uncle @nightshift. Every friday I have two lessons. Thanks a lot for improve my pratices.
Excellent techniques, well done!!
Great video man very helpful tips ,and ideas to do. I think you nailed all the looks you were going for even the fuels stains. I think the tank is looking awesome. You are a really great modeler. Thanks for another awesome video that was very helpful and entertaining.
Superb work, my friend. Really enjoy your segments. You and Night Shift are my go-to modelling channels by far (oh, and Plasmo as well). As always, thanks much for sharing.
Steve
Most impressive details, truly superb!
Very instructive video, thanks for this !!!
That looks really real, very good work.
Looks great. I think some of these "engine stains" are under-represented, especially on WW2 subjects. As you say, it's not an effect that you want a lot of, but just enough to give it some life.
Looking really amazing now, great work.
She's absolutely gorgeous man. I can't wait to finish my 1/16 506 vehicle.
Looks great!
Hi Ev, great job, its really coming alive. Your doing a top job. I hope you and your family are still doing OK and your all safe. I'm truly sorry about last week's god awful mass shooting. My heart and sympathys are with your country but also anybody you know that was caught up in it. Please stay safe buddyb
looks good, nice effects
This effect looks wery nice , i must try this in my projects :)
Dude! another 10!!!
Oh man 100% gonna try these on my own tiger
Good job!
Looking good evan
Cool effects I like adding abit of black smoke pigment in with my engine grim on mine just a tiny tad though like the crsp you get in your wheel arch or from.break dust oil n crap build up on the bottom of sumps on cars lol but it looks fantastic on my armour builds from making bust suspension shocks to the grease eye leaking etc! The fuel stains are cool, the red diesel effects! The water effect mixed with abit of Tamyia clear yellows good for petrol engine vehicles if you want to try play around adding dust etc with that it's something I'm trying to just get right myself just now!
Wow mate the research and details are amazing well don
Thank you 😊
@Panzermeister36 your welcome great work looking forward for more
Good video! From south korea😄😄
Yeah its nice!!
Interesting use of various products there, i bet most of them were not designed with this in mind but it works nicely anyway!
Thank you Michael. Next time I think I will see if I can use rust oil or enamels for fuel stains. I like the effect I got here.
Reminds me a bit how i used the 502 oil paint "industrial earth" for oil and grease effects as well, since it has a brown hue to it.
Absolutely love it! Those fuel stains certainly came out looking like many layers of old and new spills, someone needs to get this Tiger crew in fighting shape! So sloppy! 😂 But like you said. You never know. And they are indeed probably more often messier than depicted. I was a turret gunner and we were driving down the one highway in Afghanistan heading to Kandahar and I had a Sprite that I had forgotten about. It had started out room temp, not cold, but room temp is not too bad when it gets real hot out there. Needless to say after hours of forgetting about it... I cracked it open, took a swig, and it was ...pretty bad and not at all refreshing. Which sounds like Sprite to me, but overseas you tend to take what you can get. I tossed it over the armored side of the turret shield into the truck bed of our MAT-V in disgust and disappoint. Along the way, it sprayed all across the roof of the vehicle. Talk about some uNrEaLisTiC weathering on a modern AFV. What's sticky and dusty with splatter marks on the roof of an armored truck?! 😂 Honestly that is what the little splash on the turret basket by the ammo/escape hatch reminds me of. Poor loader was unimpressed with his Schnapps and tossed it out the back. Looking forward to next week's instalment!!!
Thank you for the story! Now I'll need some empty sprite bottles for my Bradley or something :D
@@Panzermeister36 hahaha for sure! Sometimes you try to tell a story with a model and sometimes the model pulls a story out of a viewer :p but yes, lots of random personal gear on modern vehicles, some even have AC power adaptors, we had a water boiler plugged in to our MaxxPro for coffee/tea.
Great job looks amazing as always! On almost all videos i post comment and i give you some tip and constructive critisicm which i think you wont mind.
Well this time i might suggest you to add some mud and dirt to the plate where the jack block stands on ground. This is the tip i picked up from Dave from IPMS TORONTO on You tube also.
Thank you! Yes I will give that part of the jack some mud once we start using the enamels and stuff for lower hull mud next week :)
looks great, it is just the tiger ,real sharp on the turret , no weathering for it?...anyway real nice...
i have some dirty changed oil from my old toyota, should just put that on works the same LOL
Yo should I get the panzer 4 j from rye field model or the stug 3 winter kitten from dragon ?
Hmmm shouldn't those glossy spots be blended too?
I am about to order a bunch of modeling products a lot of them wilder products cause they seem to be great products the only hobby store I have near me is hobby lobby. So I am going to order some products that engine grime or grease you were using from mig do you like it better than one from wilder or do they not offer something like that. I know I am going to get some textured earth products, but what products do you recommend for real looking rust effects. Sorry for such a long comment.
Enamels once cured for a few hours will not re activate with thinners or other enamels over it. Oils on the other hand will even the next day.
I have exactly the opposite experience. I can lay oils down in layers and 6 hours later they are set on solid. But enamels will keep reactivating more than 24 hrs later, and I didn't want to wait so long for these effects. I actually filmed this whole video in about 3 hours last Friday evening and it was very satisfying to get all those effects finished so fast.
Panzermeister36 maybe brands? I use AK enamels let them sit for a day. I’m guessing super thinned oils with spirits will also cure quickly. Good stuff tho.
Wait, for wilder paints do u use enamel or oil thinner? Im getting some and i need to know
Both - oils and enamels use the same thinner. It's acrylics that use different thinner.
Amazıng
You always upload at the same time as uncle night shift
Coincidence?
chost05 He said they coordinated their upload times because they were both doing Tiger 1s.
We have planned that since we are both building these zimm Tigers at the same time anyways.
@@Panzermeister36 oh i wasnt awere of that
