Recorded a set of SOLO PIANO tunes at Maestro Delaney’s studio in Cave Creek, AZ on his wonderful Yamaha C3 piano. Recorded with Earthworks Microphones.
Every time I assign a tune to my ONLINE VIDEO students, I like to give them a version of me playing it from a gig so they can see their teacher do what they do. A student of mine was working on "I Should Care", which I did not have a version of in my library. So before I recorded her lesson, I filmed this quick solo piano version of the tune and now would like to share it with YOU!

Thanks so much, David! Really appreciate your comment! When I first got started in jazz, the great pianist Alan Pasqua taught me an important lesson which is that the improvisation shouldn’t just be based off the chords but also off the melody.

Barry is one of my favorites - I call him “the magician“ because he truly was to me - his time feel was so unique, his lines were so tasteful and of course he’s most known for his beautiful “movements“. I had the chance to learn from him at his workshops in NYC where he used to call me “Bijan Harris“ which was one of the highlights of my time in NYC. Appreciate your comment! 🙏
