The 'Ring is so much fun in the wet... in a 'cheap' car! I've only been once, and it rained heavily both days. I had great fun in my MKii MX5 whilst the Porsche brigade sat in the canteen moaning about the weather!
I know it's a late reply, but this is a GCFabrications roll bar, which fits the folding hardtop cars (their soft top and PRHT versions are different) and can be modified to fit the speakers / amp mount on the Bose equipped cars if you cut up the old roll hoop.
The little miata that could. You know that dude is probably having the most fun time out there compared to everyone else because those things are just way too much fun on a track in any weather lol
My car won't spin like that I'm using the factory Bilstein suspension and I've got no complaints for fast road driving but its not very playful I want it to spin a little like yours does Are you on coilovers?
I've got factory Bilsteins and it slides like that. It took me a while to learn how. My (possibly wrong) tips follow: The thing is that you can't just use power to get oversteer because the wheelbase is so short, all the weight transfers to the back, so you lose front grip, gain rear grip and get understeer. You need to be on the limit of traction in the corner before you hit the throttle. Or you can trail brake into the corner to keep loads of front grip, then when you turn into the corner you can get enough rotational momentum into the car that it'll snap into oversteer as the weight transfers to the side as the car settles into the corner. For low speed corners (eg entering at 30 MPH) you can be quite brutal with the inputs on corner entry - like breaking so hard you're at the limit of traction when you quickly wind on an arm full of lock and let go of the brakes. The timing needs to be accurate.
Not the fastest or the most luxurious, but I guarantee you he's having the most fun out of anyone out there
That's the thing, with a few mods they become very fast.
theres a 7:37 miata somewhere with modified original engine. I wonder what a 2.5l swapped nc will do.
@@confuzionn4843 Must be one hell of a driver as well. hahah
I can attest to that!!😊

Well they wouldn't want their electrics to get wet and stop working
You just featured an NC Miata doing fun things in the wet and dry. Since I daily an NC3 Club I subscribed.
I didn’t realize roll bars were possible with the retractable hardtop! Sweet!
There's a Hard Dog one out there. Only a basic one like this and not available in Australia unfortunately

Miatas are somehow a bit...... gay(?), but you just can't have more fun in a mainstream car for the money than in one of these.
What are you on about mate
You a bit 'gay ' !
How can a car be gay ?

Better looking than BMW and Mercedes any day.
