- This video shows a side-by-side comparison in the sound of the stock exhaust vs. the MLM People's Pipe on my 2017 Tomos Flexer. I also replaced the stock Dell'Orto SHA 14.12 carb with a Dell'Orto SHA 15.15, running a #66 jet with no plastic airbox and the stock 15.15 mesh air filter press fit into place. Acceleration is greatly improved and my top speed has gone from ~28mph to ~34mph on flat ground.
**UPDATE: Final jet size after more extended tuning is #60!**
What pipe did you like better this on or the crack pipe?
It sounds like a chainsaw ;) That's ok, I think my BMW G310GS sounds like a moped but its fun and not putting as many junk miles on my 1200RT. I got the original bike I learned to ride on when I was 10 a 1971 Honda Trail 70 4 speed in the garage that I want to get running again, small displacement bikes are fun.
Shawn Kevin ohhhh a Trail 70!! Restore it!!!
Hey, any idea how i can get more torque on the flexer? I dont care about top speed, but i drive A LOT uphill and its a pain.
Get a big bore kit, a pipe, and high flow intake to carb, and then swap sprockets for acceleration over top speed.
It's only loud because of your air filter
nope the mlm has a louder baffle
Could you please do a 0 to max speed video? Ive been looking into this exhaust as most tomos exhausts in the netherlands are whack. The Homoet is an option but that has terrible bottom end power.
tollie keubs I have the 70cc Airsal kit on the way so I think that’s the next video. This pipe is very well made and it sounds good.
@@MotoMouthMoshe thanks for the reply. Okay perfect, thats even better as i also have fitted the 65cc airsal kit to my tomos.
@@mikekeuben Stay tuned!
@Mike keuben i know its kind of a late response, but if you really want to optimise your power, you can either can a good all around exhaust (like the tecno circuit or tecnigas next) or you can get an exhaust made to have more power in higher rpms and maybe tune the clutch so it shifts at higher revs and therefore using the exhaust better.
I don't see how he's running a #60 jet on a 70cc #60 jet is for 50cc tomos
What did you do to it
That is literally in the title of the video
Size of main jet?
He said 60
