Because I witnessed to someone lost at a music festival that I almost didn’t wanna even be at I changed the life of a young man who is passionate about soul winning and just told me he wants to dedicate his life to it I broke down in tears of joy knowing how God can use me. I don’t like Calvinism I think it’s evil. We need to be compassionate on reaching people where they are at. God can use you, anytime, anywhere.
I am blessed to have a witnessing team faithfully share a clear gospel of Jesus Christ every week. There is a great opportunity for witnessing but there are many adversaries. We should keep a good testimony to be an effective witness. Pray that God's people do not let sin stop them from sharing the gospel.
A preacher named Robert Breaker was the man who shared the Blood-stained Gospel to me ❤

Calvinism focuses on social morality because their doctrine of predestination reduces the need for Evangelism.

Pastor I believe there's another way of confirming what you believe that God needs us.
I wouldn't think of it in a way where God needs us because He can't do it by himself. That's foolishness!! God created everything so He can also do anything BUT He needs us to help Him in a way to get his message across where the person MUST make their own decision. God's hand cannot force or influence that decision other than sending a message. The message was sent through Jesus and now it's up to us to share the message and somehow make it understandable and relatable to the person we're sharing it with. I also believe that by following this service it prepares us for things to come in our new life with the Lord.
I believe with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the belief in Jesus Christ that God helps each and every believer share God's message. That's how I see God needing us.
Also heard you say and several sermons that if God is pleased with what we are doing for him He can shower us with blessings. On the other hand if God is not pleased with what we are doing He can withhold all blessings up toand including taking us home early.
So here are my thoughts, if God does not need us then why take us home early?
For God to completely take a believer out of the picture I can't imagine how totally useless that person would have to be in helping advance God's Kingdom. I believe I also heard you say that there's really nothing we can do to interfere with God's plan. We may think we're interfering with His plan somehow BUT this is God, we're actually helping Him we just don't know it.
I would think it's far worse for a Christian believer to still be here on Earth without any of God's blessings because chastisement is still an option.
NOW with that said, I also read somewhere that you DO NOT ever want to fall into the hands of an angry God ( Hebrews 10:31 ).
So it brings me to my last question, how angry do you think God would have to be to take a believer home early ( 2 Peter 3 8-9)?
AND THEN to face God early and not in a Matthew 25:21 well done my good and faithful son sort of way but more in an Acts 5:1-11 sort of way.

I see Calvinism as glorifying laziness and pride. I don’t see anywhere in the Bible where it encourages being lazy.
While obviously, I wouldn’t recommend such doctrines and/or people, there has been cases of people who became saved by testimonies. But the testimonies given were from people who weren’t saved. Goes back as far as the Judas era.
And I think a lot of people often confuse “What must I do to become saved?” with “What should I do after I become saved?”. And there is works to do after one is saved by believing. Not however to earn salvation, maintain salvation or even prove salvation.
For anybody who is saved by believing, God seals them with the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit in us will convict us of sin and wants to do good. But until a saved person is finally in Heaven, the new God given nature and the old sinful nature are gonna be clashing.

NO...repent means biblically to have a change of mind...comes from the word metanoia.......if it meant to turn from sin then God who repented in the OT many times...did he turn from sin....of course not.....
But don't born again believers need to keep the Commandments if we love Christ? John 14:15-31, Matt. 7:21-23. Aren't we responsible to do works worthy of repentance?
After we are saved we do good works. Good works have nothing to do with salvation. Good works have to do with rewards after salvation.
