Jim Rathmann was my Dad. He was definitely a hero of mine. I miss him a lot. P.s. who the hell is Smokey Yunik...he must of been jealous.

Probably the best story in Smokey's autobio was his account of the 1960 500...
Smokey could have maybe been forgiven for committing a double murder afterwards.
