Hello Anoma, I live in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 close to 40 years. I love your style of cooking. Like Ape Amma’s cooking. You were introduced to me by my sister in law. Amitha akka in Kandy she is my Loku aiya’s brother’s widow. As you mentioned in your video interview we are also from a very close knitted family. Though she is my sister in law she is like my own sister. She said when she saw your family making kalu dodol reminded our home when Amma made surrounded by all of us. Anyway I left SL very young and didn’t learn to cook. Our Amma and some of my sisters are experts of Sinhala traditional cuisine. Now I have retired and have grand children. I have two daughters and they love our food. So now I follow your videos and cook. My eldest daughter Girisha wanted Kiribath Salmon curry Haslmassso badum for Thanksgiving dinner not Turkey dinner. Though they are married to Canadians. Not Srilankans. So we really appreciate your culinary expertise. God Bless you.

I have been making this for years i had a sri lankan work friend , i remember frying the sprats inside the house and what a mistake , now i heat up the oil first walk out side with the pan with hot oil and fry the sprats outside or heat up the oil on your BBQ - it saves having to buy air freshener ;)

I am from Australia and you are a life saver... . i have few questions. could you please suggest few meal plan menu for lunches and dinner. i always mess up the combination and ends up a disaster. Secondly how to avoid frying the onions and other food as my husband has cholesterol and BP. can this be done in the oven? Regards
