Y'know the wig doesn't seem half bad, because there are so many tips to make shiny synthetic wigs look "natural"
Use dry shampoo or give it a fabric softener bath and it’ll take a synthetic shine right out!

Your Makeup is AMAZING.
I know RH is obsessed with the sock/heel combo but it is a pain to put them on and then the shoes. Also, my Amaya's knee high socks had holes in them when I put them on the doll. MGA needs to rethink how they affix clothes to the boxes so as not to damage them. The plastic holders damage the more delicate fabrics.
That’s why when I unpackaged I use a pair of small scissors so I can get between the clothing and the plastic holder
Omg yes! My Krystal doll's panty hose had a huge hole on the side.
My daughter's amaya had holes in her socks too and the ones she wore started to look bad after trying to put the shoes on I'm glad the skirts can go over the shoes as after 5 times of trying to even just get the shoes on without the socks I told she's not changing shoes again

The wig is polyester and I believe the dolls hair is nylon!

I feel like the one you put in the cheer outfit was the one from MGA because her hair looks so much nicer and my Amaya has the redder looking lips to as well as the other Amaya’s at my store so I feel like the lighter lip color was a early thing they changed!
This would be good for like a rainbow dash cosplay

I’m actually in love with her first outfit, she’s my favorite from series 2. Shes always looked like a Madison to me. I think the one without a bunch of gel probably came from MGA.
Yay now my daughter Marissa wants the wig after watching 😂🤗🤗🤗. Awe we love the rainbow sequin skirt with just the rainbow sequin top without the black t shirt under and no belt. I do love her 2nd shoes. Her cheer outfit is cute too I love the we got 2 tops. The inside of the skirt is awesome too on the cheer 1. I bet Amaya Series 2 is the favorite my daughter loves her hair.
I finally got Amaya and her hair is the bad version. It’s gonna take so long to brush it out but it’s so worth it because she’s gorgeous.

I've been watching your channel ever since you started hunting for monster high. I'm 18 now and I had to pause at the part where you talk about the "Mama Dragons". I teared up! As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, what it stands for is amazing! I wish I had someone in my family as supportive as you. My grandma tries, but all in all I feel like she doesn't want me to express myself. But I know she loves me either way regardless. If I ever happen to see one of those logos, I will make sure to talk to the person and thank them for being supportive!

I just brush the product out of the hair. Most of the time it works well. Occasionally I'll have to restyle a curl or two back in, but usually just twisting it after will hold it's shape while getting rid of the crustiness.

Hi Melissa! I recently got back into dolls after kinda being out of the game for a couple years, with this Amaya being the one that brought me back just earlier today! I was a longtime viewer of your channel before the rebrand, and have been somewhat following your lives during the period i wasn't into dolls. I'm 18, I believe your son is the same age or slightly younger, but it's so crazy to me how we're both trans and like,, I grew up watching him you know? I just think it's so cool. I don't recall his name so please forgive me, but I wish him the best with his transition, and you and your family the best as well
Wish they made wigs like that when I was a kid ( also 53 year old lady here ) I wore the heck out of those plastic dangerous kid heels though 😅. Your the best !

I have found that it’s really up to your discretion on if you are going to run warm water and soap in your dolls hair. Amaya, Ruby, Sunny and Jade were the only ones I didn’t need to run water through and it looked super cute. I tested the water on Skyler and Poppy and it ended up being super cute after it dried, but I really do love the texture that comes with the hair and minor gel.

AMAYA RAINE IS SO COLORFUL!
I have only ever used shampoo (baby shampoo specifically) on two of my Our Generation dolls and it improved on the softness of their hair. But their hair was a bit greasy so it needed the extra care. For most of my dolls, I stick to hot water to clean serious gel out of their hair. But Amaya is so pretty. It's especially amazing how MGA made her incorporate so many colors without making her clown like or gaudy.
And I think the one with less crunchy hair is the MGA PR doll. The PR ones tend to have better hair.

Wigs are so much fun! I have a few Purple Plum that I use for attending Conventions in Japanese Lolita and Street Styles. Plus others that are cheap that I use for testing out looks. I am so glad you go all the way with these reviews and have so fun with it!

From wearing wigs, I have learned to wash with fabric softener and it makes the nylon hair nice and soft. I am definitely going to have to get that wig and wear it to karaoke night
I've never washed Rainbow High doll hair before, but I think I will, because I have the one that you showed first and having all that crunch takes away from seeing all the pretty colors in her hair. I'm don't style the hair so I'm worried about losing any body she might have, or does her hair look fine straight? I also don't like the sequin too and will take mine off, I thought it was one piece.

I just bought Kia and Amaya today at Target. I wanted to see Crystal but they didn't have her. I kind of want River but Kia is a special edition so she's a little more on price so I passed on River, because I already spent a lot. I still kind of want the Avery set, but it's so expensive.

You look awesome the wig is amazing and love your make-up. This new version of Amaya looks awesome with her rainbow hair and brighter make-up, I can see a slight difference in skin tone and lip colour also. Both her outfits look really cool and agree the Monster High cheerleader platform heals style shoes would have worked really well with this dolls cheerleader outfit. Her hair is really crispy but after a wash it looks amazing. Am so looking forward to getting her. 😍💗🌈

I can't wait for the Season 2 and the Cheer dolls to come to Germany! Buuuut till then i have to find mors space for all the beautiful dolls of my collection. And i started to make new outfits...i already made socks in diffrent lengths, a skirt and new trousers. I think my Amaye from first wave will get the first Outfit of this Amaya and the second one will get the chear outfit!
I'm new here, so I'm sure you've answered this in the past, but what do you do with the boxes? do you keep them? pitch them? trying to decide what to do with mine, but I don't think I have enough storage space to keep them.
I want Amaya 1.0 and Amaya 2.0 both plus series 1 and series 2 dolls Kia and future series dolls especially special edition dolls. I was not into rainbow high at first they grew on me now.
