Thank you so much for your positive attitude to Fleetwood. I was born and raised there, as was my husband, sadly no longer with me, but I am sure he would have enjoyed your videos so much. His father(my father-in-law) was a fish salesman in the 1950's. Thank you also for accompanying this with the Moonlight Sonata - the first piece of music I mastered during my piano learning days in the 1940s ! I am fortunate that I still live in the Wyre area so visit often as I can.
Hi Brenda, thank you so much for such a lovely comment. Fleetwood is very special to me as my dad used to take me there as a youngster often, when we lived in Birmingham as he loved the place. Sadly I lost him 2 years ago this month. Similarly as you said about your late husband, if my dad could see my videos and know I'd moved there he'd have a big smile on his face. In the mid 70s my grandad taught me to read music and the first song i ever played was "yes we have no bananas". I have a lovely piano and I've always wanted to learn to play moonlight sonata. One day I've promised myself I will. Fleetwood is not a difficult place to feel positive about. It oozes beauty and serenity. I wish you well and I'm happy you've taken some pleasure in my videos.
