I’m binge watching (again). I love to listen/watch while I knit and I can’t think of any other knit friends I’d rather knit with than you two, so welcome to my Saturday knitting. Hope you both are having a great day.
Thank you so much for showing us your gorgeous knits! You are both such accomplished knitters! I loved all of them, and have done a little colourwork , after watching you I am now going to knit the Sparky. I am in the UK, so my yarn choices will be slightly different , but thanks so very much for the inspiration, I will look forward to following and watching more from you, thanks again so much, kind regards x☺️
Thank you so much for watching and your kind remarks. We love knitting Andrea's designs they are so many options for the yarns and modifying them to fit your body and style. I would love to see your Sparky when you finish it. It is a very engaging knit. Maybe you could email us a picture of your finished Sparky! ~Diana
Thank you, Lori! It was surprising how many things we have made from Andrea's patterns. She is definitely a gifted designer. Thank you so much for watching.
I have made a lot of Andrea Mowry patterns and enjoyed seeing yours. I also love Thea Colman and have made a lot of her patterns. She’s Baby Cocktails on Ravelry.
Thank you! It is surprising to see all the things we have made of Andrea's over the years. Her designs are so interesting and you can definitely put your personal style on all her projects. ~Diana
Thank you, Audrey! It was amazing to see how many finished items I had. That was the first time I had them all in one place at the same time, maybe I'm a little obsessed with her designs! 😂☺ ~Diana
I am loving your podcast and all of your Andrea Mowery makes are beautiful! I love my Weekender Light and get compliments every time I wear it! Looking forward to your next podcast!
What a lovely surprise to you see you both again so soon! Thankyou for introducing me to a new designer! You said you need to/like to add length, do you add any shaping or just keep knitting straight? I ask because some patterns when designed to be cropped if you just knit straight they don't sit so nicely. I always have to add length - partially for grow room for lanky children, and I also like a bit more coverage especially in a cardy or jumper you want it to keep you warm! Well, I do anyway! Your knits are all gorgeousbut my favourite is that green cardy at the end, it is GLORIOUS! I would think that once gou get started again Diana that you will just wonder however did you not pick it up sooner 😉 Don't wait til you're on vacation to pick it up! Perhaps not the project to try standing up either! Or whilst reading 😂😅 Look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care and Happy Knitting.
Thank you for much for watching and your sweet comments! Andrea has been a favorite of ours for some time and her designs just keep getting better. I don't add body shaping but definitely not opposed to it. I haven't noticed Andrea's designs flaring out or having extra fabric when I lengthen the sweaters. Her designs are generally pretty close to the body especially the Sparky, Alpenglow, and Illuminate. I'm going to have to get back on my Sparky cardi ,maybe soon! ~Diana
I’m so glad I found your podcast at the beginning so I can follow you from the start 😊. Can I suggest you type the name of the patterns on the screen when you show the different knits? It helps slow brains like mine remember the name for looking up the pattern later ❤.
What a great idea! I think Kaity mentioned putting a name on the screen on the episode we just filmed. We will definitely see if this an option with our tech department, Samuel.❤ If it helps, Kaity puts show notes up for each episode. Thank you so much for watching!
I made the Flicker and Flame Hat and I loved the ones (all the knits today!) you knit. Looking to cast on another and put in my ‘Christmas Gift Box’. Again, Thank You for such a lovely episode! 😊

I believe you do a GSR to turn and work on the wrong side for that sock you asked about.
Thank you for the turning tip. I will definitely have to look that up and try it on my next sock! Thank you for watching! ~Diana
Andrea is my aunt!!
