Everyone saying the stage is too huge doesn’t remember the stage during the Death Magnetic tour. Thing was massive and the band members were always away from each other.
Honestly my issue with this stage is the snake pit. If it was a solid stage like the death magnetic tour the band members would be closer together more. This stage is weird to navigate being a donut
I’ve seen them on Death Magnetic tour and that stage wasn’t that big as I remember, I kept seeing all members quite frequently. This one kind of don’t make any sense tbh and the sound I can hear sound quality in stadium is quite shite, not trying to bash band or anything, honestly really enjoyed 72 seasons, but kind of glad that I didn’t buy tickets for warsaw show, if this is the stage they are planning to play on
Hmm. Strange thing about the backing vocals. The first "wrath of man" on each chorus is nice and clean, then Rob's vocal is more recognizable... (as he's not a great singer). Is it James singing the first line, on each chorus? Or a track?
We've got the answer : Rob sings without pre recorded track! Not like in the TV show a few days ago... I like Rob, he's trying hard, he's not a singer... I respect the musician he is anyway 🙏
I would have thought that for the price for tickets that Metallica would have a better show. Yes listening to them play the songs live is cool but for what I saw the price of tickets you would think Metallica would have put more into the actual show and stage. A circle stage and some high screens doesn't quite seem worth it. I've seen them 18 times going back into the 80s. One guy said the nose blead seats he had were $200. For that price it better be a Damage Justice tour stage or Iron Maidens Power Slave tour stage. Something extraordinary would have been nice. Hell even the stage they used for the movie would have been cool. Just my 2 cents
Better off with James singing Wrath of man along with Rob on all parts, that middle breakdown section needs some practise, i thought they'd mess up this bit to be fair, the timing is quite tricky
That sounds like a mess. Either stage setup, sounds crew or the arena is very bad for sound. Or a combination of those. Can barely hear anything (and that goes for all recordings from this show). Waiting for their professional footage!
The sound was much better down in the crowd and closer to the stage. Today especially. On thursday it was not that good but they improved it somehow this second show.
I did see a comment on Thursday saying this arena isn’t all that great for sound, or something along those lines. Another thing to consider is phone mics don’t capture how it really sounds, and that goes for any arena/stadium shows.
Sorry, but that whole stage concept is a fail. That's not a way to enjoy Metallica concert. Everybody just standing still or sitting in the chairs watching the band 10km away. Also it is so annoying when the band members are so far away from each other.
Go Robert! Those choruses are sounding great! Long live Metallica 🤘🏼
FEEDING ON THE WRATH OF MAN!
72 SEASONS GONE!!!!!!

I think my biggest issue is the metal beams holding the screens. The obstruct so much of the view.

Lmaooo I saw them on the DM tour. The stage wasn’t even 50% the size of this one. It’s too big
I knew the tracks from the new album would be fucking amazing played live!
Rob sounds awesome
Sounds great
Thank you Bart for sharing this ❤from Sicily, Italy.
Hammett Riff !!
Sounds awesome! Metallica rules 🤘
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
Tysm for recording this! I was there in April 27th but I couldn’t come today, you don’t know how much this means to me!!! Your a true legend!!!
Thanks bro Bart, I watch it while I have a beer
Can you confirm that they played Until It Sleeps from Load?
Edit: WOW THEY ACTUALLY DID
They didn't.
@@quadhelix7749 Metallica updated the setlist at their website and yeah, they did
I have been waiting forever for this!!!
@@channelfortheeveryman3139 First time since November 2008 they've played it!
Incredible recovery.... distance apart, no eye contact.
I think it's fascinating that with line arrays you only need so much speakers. These stage designs wouldn't be possible without them.

Was there man show was kinda dope
Symbols rule the world.

Their Stage looks like Binge&Purge stage on 1992/93

It really was a great Metallica night. (but the sound in the stadium wasn't the best)
I was in the first circle. Not a perfect sound, Couldn't hear Kirk play his solo's. This video sounds much better.
true

Metallica is my favorite band of all i seen them in 2008 and in 2019 the sound wasn't that great...
Weird to see a “metal show” with a audience completely standing still

yea i dont like how far they are from each other either
A smaller circle with no snake pit would be more practical.
and that for 170 Euro... Ticket price Hamburg
The concept is cool but the execution just isn’t there
So what are you saying? They play smaller shows? Literally impossible lol their following is massive
Stupid scene, ☹️
