- This is the first look at the new Tomahawk 36V Mosquito Fogger. Battery powered equipment is leaching into every facet of our lives, mosquito foggers are the latest to get on board. I give you my thoughts on these two models of mosquito sprayers, the Invatech 915 and Tomahawk 36V.
Thanks for watching!

Such a good video!! Thank you
Returned my tomahawk today and shelled out a few hundred extra for the Flowzone Vortex
The tomahawk has a flaw being that its gravity fed so you can’t point it upwards at all
Unless you’re a farmer fogging your crops down low it’s worthless
Solid review bro!
Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for your insight.
Good to finally see Electric Mosquito foggers
I will say I bought Tomahawk’s electric backpack sprayer and it broke in 3 weeks completely
But the Mosquito fogger looks like a much better design then their crappy Exterior backpack sprayer for general pest control
How so? Explain more details please.
That’s awesome! Been looking into these. First time hearing about Tomahawk. Thanks for sharing.
This unit is nice!
Just commented on the same. It will kill your battery leaving one to think its falsely advertised.
I like that you don’t have to take off to start/restart.
Seems a different tank design should be possible with gas. Maybe they need the tank higher for gravity feed or something.
Electric start backspace blowers would be incredible
RUclips needs to fix this I'm subscribed to you yet it says this video is 10 days old why am I just watching this now good video very unique
I agree RUclips needs to promote my videos more!
Don’t know the pricing where you are. Here in Canada the tomahawk battery powered sprayer is double the cost of the Invatech.
I don’t know how I feel about the tomahawk yet
Mine didn’t come with the ULV nozzle which it should have tbh
Also you can’t really spray vertically with this “fogger” might be returning it idk yet
I suggested a ULV and a longer air tube to the folks at Tomahawk.
@@TurfCulture yea I decided I’m returning it and shelling out the $1,000 for flowzones fogger which sucks but either do it right or don’t do it at all tomahawk didn’t do it right
@@Man_in_a_Gucci_Suit I have that one too just haven’t reviewed it yet.
@@TurfCulture would love to see a review on it
I’m probably gonna order it today regardless tho Flowzone makes good stuff
@@TurfCulture is it as good as a Stihl or you haven’t used it enough to decide?
whats the optimal micron size to kill mosquitoes and does the battery pack fogger adjust to that size?
Depends on what product you’re spraying, if you need very fine micron size a ULV nozzle can help.
Hello, great video. Can you give an assessment of how long the battery actually last compared to the 2 hours Tomahawk claims?
If you can resist using turbo mode it’ll spray for the two hour claim by Tomahwak.
@@TurfCulture Thanks!
When you release the trigger(blowing)on the tomahawk does the product continue to come out from gravity feed?
Yes you have to be mindful of the feeder tube valve when you are not spraying.
@@TurfCulture awesome
I got the tomahawk a week or so ago, finally got a chance to use it today. It's my first backpack fogger, i was using a Ryobi sprayer previously. I thought it worked great, i just gotta ease off the turbo button, that was a battery killer
I don’t really use turbo unless I’m spraying up high vertically.
Does the gravity feed stop when you release trigger or do you need to shut gravity feed separately?
@@alexrileyfoxhound5453 It will keep running out. You would just have to turn the valve that's right by the handle.
@@jameshubisz Thank you
How high vertically can u spray with these gravity fed sprayers??? I am assuming not that high??
Does the invatech leak? I’ve used two stihls and both of those leaked
No reports of leaking here
Will a Tonneau cover go over the ⚡️ Tomahawk sprayer? Maybe if you take the lid off? Biggest concern is someone stealing the $500-$550 (before tax) sprayer
Yes mine fits under a tonneau cover
@@TurfCulture nice
I recommend a “My4Sons” sprayer if you need a liquid sprayer and don’t have an electric one yet
What was your chemical mixture? It helps to know that if you're gonna tell people how to spray like a pro
I have another video on that, I like to rotate Bifen and Demand CS but I always add IGR to the tank.
Just got the invatech ordered 4 days ago and then i see this 😅
The Invatech is a nice piece of equipment 👍🏻
@@TurfCulture I'm impressed so far they sent extra valves, hoses & pull cord assembly. Them lil things that could make a big difference in the long run
How long does battery last if on turbo mode
Roughly 30 minutes
Just started looking at these. After 4 months, are you still as happy with it? Any tips?
Yes I am still very pleased with it, the low weight and low noise especially. I would expect to see more battery foggers coming to market soon.
@@TurfCultureunfortunately the leaf blower/fogger market isn't very big, its a very overlooked tool. Extremely useful for spraying large areas
Im in the market for this one. Do you think having the ULV sprayer matters for mosquito control?
If you really need to reduce the micron size then maybe, the sprayer worked pretty well without the ultra low volume in my opinion.
Update: Today was the first day I used my sprayer after unboxing so thanks for the information. The battery only lasted 30 to 40 minutes after alternating from regular to turbo (for a short period). After mixing 1 gallon I noticed it sprayed out very fast. Getting a good vertical spray was also a little unusual. I'll admit it was my first time so it may take some time getting used to. Lastly, the battery and charger were a pain and I really had to ensure the battery was connected because it went from charging to Fully charged with only one cell charged. I also purchased the ULV so I will see how that works out. Have you used it was a leaf blower?
@@StealthJackson12Bcan you update us on the ULV and if you find it necessary? Also any other issues with the unit?
arent these chemicals very dangerous or become safe when dry?
Yes, follow the label as directed.
Do most people find that by doing this spraying that it helps with mosquitoes?
This is the most effective method of mosquito control.
Does it still work good? Any issues?
Still works great! No issues
Even a few pounds lighter would be nice if you’re using it all day. Good review

Battery equipment is involving bit by bit.
The best RUclips, make sure subscribe to him everybody
Thank you!
The gas tomahawk obviously has the correct amount of power and is blowing the pesticide under the leaves (where mosquitoes stay the most). The battery barely made a leaf move…
I would def not recommend a battery mister. Especially for large properties of an acre or more
Splitting hairs between the two honestly
Lighter I bet...
Hey 👋
Hello
@@TurfCulture how are you
First
Great review. They are nice products just so darn expensive for a DIY'er . Nice if you have a business then worth the investment 👍🏻💚🦸🏻
I expect nothing less from you, Keith!
Hey I know it’s not the target content of the video but you might want to pull it and edit out you blasting all the flowering plants….pretty sure that’s a no no in every state
So just a sprayer hooked to a leaf blower 😂
😂😂😂 people are hahalarious, there are natural sprays. Great review, thank you.
