Nice review. Thank you! You mentioned deep experience with foggers. Assuming good mechanical skill, is it worth fixing up a $300-400 crapbox or just dropping the $1-1.5k on something supposedly nicer? I'm cautious about buying a more expensive one (such as this) and still having to fix it up in the first year (e.g. replace every cracked fitting, correct design defect, etc.). This one looks well made, but there aren't many true/unsanitized pictures out there. Also, what kind of life do you get out of the diaphrams? Thank you again :)
As of May 2023 this fogger is available from the manufacturer for $588 USD. I haven't had to do any repairs in the past year. My usage is light, maybe 5-6 times a year. When I contacted customer support with a few questions they were very responsive.
@@michiganmotorsports I ended up purchasing one Longray-branded (looks exactly the same) and am quite happy with it. It did need an electrical rework out of the box, and the metal edges were RAZOR sharp. Zero maintenance so far with about 60 gallons of solution pumped through. Being able to switch between oil and water base is nice.
You do have me outmatched BUT I CAN fog and mow the lawn at the same time. I had a old poulan pro riding mower whos muffler was in the front {box with a pipe pointing down on the end}. I drilled a small hole as far away from the exit i could , attached a long copper tube so it could reach the pestiside sprayer sitting next to the drivers seat. I filled the sprayer with malathion [you can't get anything effective anymore] and after pulling off the tip of the sprayer nossle the other end of the copper tube slipped snuggly inside the elastic sprayer wand. Now all i had to do is pump up the sprayer and wait for the exhaust to thoroughly heat up that large muffler . It worked quite well but seeing by target were fleas hidden in the grass the smoke didn't linger as long as i hopped it would furthermore the mass of my vaporizer was insufficient store enough energy to make any headway before having to stop. If only I new someone from Africa who could ship me over some DDT and a sugar momma to handle the shipping and a wise master to teach me of the ways of importing goods. if only that engineering degree was useful. I swear we could have valuble people with unmatched skills if only they didn't waste 18 years of our lives. worthless subjects: History [all of them] , health class [ we have the internet , we can perform a Cricothyroidotomy, and perform the dance that I studied for since i was in 5th grade . It's a shame those detailed notes had a hot N---ed lady printed on them It's a shame because I left the notes in the printer where my mom saw them when she woke me in the morning for school😳 At that surge of emotions hit me like a train. adrenaline put my brain in survival mode . 1. Snatch evidence before she reads any more. meanwhile i'm lying to myself in an attempt to convince myself she didn't read it all she saw was the hot lady. 2. Soon SHOCK - DISBELIEF- EMBARESSMENT - SHAME hit me all at once i was completely mortified. 3. Tell mom to leave. 4. quickly hide evidence 5. put on a performance of a lifetime . I name this masterpiece "Act Sick so I can Play Hooky and avoid the most gruesome ride of my life" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA my Mom let me stay home. I was so grateful she understood and it made me so happy that she is my mom.
