One of the trails we encountered while at Xtreme was this nasty stretch on the woods not far off Hwy 90. For tractor tires, it wasn't an impossible stretch, but for Boggers or anything else, it was a baaaaad situation. Curtis had a difficult time keeping his 4Runner on cut 54" Boggers running properly, so it made for a challenge working him through end to end. With some teamwork, everyone was able to make through, despite it taking 2-3 hours.

Those boggers just dont cut it anymore lol and ive never understood why all these guys dont run lockers? Super nasty holes though, this is my favorite type of videos, that good mud instead of that water splashing lol

sean tap boggers work just as good as tractor tires but he was lacking in the torque/horsepower range plus them tires looked bad

Two words , portal axles. Don't do the whimpy 404 Unimog axles ,but the much tougher 406 or bigger. If you guys run some Michelin XM 47 tires you'd be able to run down the highways also.Looks like fun though . Thanks for sharing!

That some SERIOUS Marl Clay! Fill your tires with slickem! if you dont have enough wheel speed then the tires cant clean themselves out! In situations like the toyota, need to have more wheelspeed! Mash the gas, let it crawl, mash the gas, let it crawl- to clean out the tires! Looks Like Hella Fun Though!! AMAZING Video XXX! Thumbs UP!
I think the Super swamper boggers are still a super sick tire but in thick mud and clay that clings to tread tractor tires our preform.
I also LOVE jeeps with tractor tires and i don't think i've seen a turbe 4runner on 54's - great looking trucks guys!
At least the Toyota is saving gas by being towed.

Well, his tires are the issue. It would be cheaper to get tractor tires that perform well under low speeds than changing everything. I agree, with with one thing, mud boggers require high RPM to clean witch he can't do.

I have seen boggers do really good in certain stuff but that mud is turning them into drag slicks. even when he spins them up at high rpm its like he had glue on his tires and everything just stuck lol. sweet vid. im guessing y'all dont use lockers because of the breakage or???

i see that the boggers are cut but they sure didnt act like it! then i watched him near the end spin them up pretty high rpm and they didnt clean at all! that was some sticky mess
I have a few sets of new factory remanded units in crates complete disc to disc with brakes and integrated cable pull parking brake along with air lockers 6.53;1 final ratio for $4500 a pair! Black in color 750 lbs front 700 lbs rear.

That type of mud you almost have to use tractor tires. I'm not a big fan of the look of them but they do work quite well.
