Adams car reviews is a big hit in my book with the amount of cars you have and the amount of people you know with cool collections you could make some pretty solid car vs series.

It’s way too far forward on the seat for a harness. It’s almost like they did it to give it that look but didn’t make it functional. Maybe it’s a handle for you to hold on for dear life when the driver is behaving like a bmw owner lol.

@@kndli67 I get what ur saying but as someone who likes to keep cars a long time the chase is a 20+ year old car being compared to a brand new bmw, in 20 years that bmw probably won’t even be running let alone comparable to what’s modern at the time

The only thing I have against the m5 is how big it is. If this was a comparison between the Chaser and an equivalently modded E39 M5 then I'd take the BMW all day

As a BMW guy, the M5 CS is a hell of a car. Reviewers pitted one against a charger redeye wide body, which has 797hp, and the M5 won all the races, even in RWD mode. Can't sleep on that big girl.
I can't get over the intake noise on the CS. It sounds amazing.
Proper enjoyed this video, should definitely do this style again. Plenty of action 👍🏻
ive noticed how americans (generalising) find cars like an M5 alot slower than how they are perceived here in europe. im not sure if this is a case of we have tighter roads and more things to hit so things feel sketchy quicker.
i also think (talking from experience albeit not a CS M5) they are most impressive when youre already at high speeds, not accelerating from pedestrian speeds for a youtube pull.
When it comes to raw acceleration new cars rarely are gonna hold up. They are heavier, with super linear power bands, so yes driving it and on paper they are still fast af, but butt dyno wise, nothing beats some old sketchy build going faster than it was engineered to do lol
It's more along the lines that we have A LOT higher horsepower cars here. You see 500hp+ everywhere in the united states. Thus, this will not be as impressive. For example a $55000 mustang makes right about 500 whp. We are really spoiled when it comes to power.

What a great review/battle! I'd love to see more videos like this, especially since Adam can appreciate old and new which i love about him! Some more outside shots of both cars would be awesome too, because I can't get enough of the JZX and i would love to hear the M5 do some flybys around the compound
You need to do an E92 M3 test with either your 3 series or the other. Those cars are the fun ones. The NA S65 is amazing.
You can pop the carbon off the bottom of the seat and hook up a harness if needed

Liked the new content 👍. I will say that a tune on the M5 would totally change the outcome. Not to mention the M5 CS's long term value appreciation potential.

@TheTopside10 the e92 isn't an m5. It's the only v8 m3 ever, and it's relatively reliable with maintenance.

For such a cupholder enthusiast I'm shocked Adam hasn't got a 3d printer. It might look janky but it works if you design them well + theres heaps already out there you can modify to fit any car.
love this style of video & the concept, but also love the random compound shenanigans. would be sick to create some sort of schedule or rotation of different video ideas. maybe even a “car vs car” like this once a week or something would be awesome 👍🏼

I get the power is a lil lower on the M5 but with a ecu tune or a couple of bolt ons is an easy 700 - 1000hp car
Same argument could be made for the chaser, different turbo and tune and it's probably good for 1000hp

A bit late, bur Great Video! This video kept me engaed the entire time, and I didn't find myself skipping through some parts as I sometimes would. It's comparable to the FD videos in my opinion. Got my like.
The chaser will never come close to the m5c nothing beats German engineering

Idk that BMW has ALOT of technology in it. I have a feeling that 5CS is going to take the chaser both in a str8 line and even more so on a track weight or not. The chaser's suspension needs to be set for the track if it wants any chance

I think its because of the linear power band and how comfortable they are, so much so you don't really feel the power. I remember a review i saw on the e63s brabus 800 and the guy said its so comfortable you can drive at 300kph with 1 hand

Hes got 50k max. It doesnt have a crazy billet engine setup or anything

M5 CS basically does what a 992 Turbo S can but for a sedan thats almost half the price (market value), just as special
Japanese engineering is timeless and unbeatable... i'd take my S15 over any BMW, Audi, Merc you put in front of me. Obviously hitting the supercar field i'd change my mind, but nonetheless all sick cars and all have a different feel and experience. I respect them all.

That CS is a holy grail car to me when I was kid my Dad had a green 73' 3.0 CSI before they were also a holy grail car. Definitely one of the favorite European cars I have ever experienced

That M5CS is going to be a collector. Last M5 generation without hybrid assist and the most hardcore variant of it. Great car to own and hold on to.

LZ you need to do more car reviews. Your reaction isn’t bias unlike journalists who cap in their reviews so they can still get “press cars” to reviews. Finding stuff out on the car as you actually review it is nice because it comes off as not forced like you did 10 retakes or something. Also since you mostly drive analog stuff it’s good to see how the new modern digital cars feel in comparison.
