    Thats interesting about tuning changes! My echo 670 i just picked up leans out after warming up a minute or two. It idles perfect but goes way lean so i figured air leak and was about to go pressure test it but 1-1/2-2 more turns out sounds a lot easier to try first!! Thanks for the video and the info!!

    Good job sir! They all seemed to be close wirh the Archer chain!

    Have to say my echo 670 really leans out when warm. Kinda strange none of my other saws do this! Perhaps why the 590 echo has the strange high jet! Watching this after rebuilding the carb changing tank filter and replacing the impulse line. 1-1/2 turns more was excessive but proved it finally stayed rich once warm. Fine tuned from there!! Thanks!

    Great saws. I believe the chain is the Achilles' heel. Good learning experience for you and all the viewers. Content helps us all. Thanks for the videos. 👍🏻

    My 4910 from the factory was 3.1/4 turns out on the high side.

    Badass videos man. Love the honesty! Keep it up. That high rpm saw really does seem faster. Maybe when you get some editing done you could take that footage and show us some timed differences. That would be pretty sweet.

    All around sweet runners👍🏻 yeah Echo's are a little different to tune, if it's been a while since I ran one, once I think the tunes good I'll usually pull and look at the plug just to check myself.

    You should make a video on a high RPM Husqvarna 55 I’m wanting to build one

    I think the high rpm one is the best.

    Those Archer chains are soft as butter and dull very quickly.

    Those 4910s run! Any thoughts on the new 4920

      It seems like a fine farm and ranch saw. Never ran one though.

      I just bought one and with a sharp chain it cuts fast and running an 18”bar it would have no problem running a 20”. Oregon control chain is the best from my research. They went to the spring vibration system which I like better also.

    Nice job, new owners should be happy. It's going to suck when the supply of these saws dry up, they are such a great value

      @novicelumberjack  7 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, great value indeed. Just wish there was a better filter option. Yeah, I know all about making things work this way or that... but it is a huge design flaw on both the 4910 and 590 variants.

    Ha Ha. My last comment was before the end of the video when you mention your favorite 325 chain is Stihl RS.

    Hey man maybe kind of a dumb question I just got a 4910 a few weeks ago ran about 7-8 tanks of gas through it and I was tuning the carb the other day and I could only seem to get like a half to 3/4 turn out of both the low and high screws but I know I’ve heard you and other people say you could fully turn both screws at-least one time. Am I doing something wrong here?

    • @novicelumberjack
      @novicelumberjack  7 месяцев назад +1

      Gotta remove the plastic carb limiters. This video shows how to remove them. It's for a Echo 590, but it applies to your saw as well. The main jet plugging does not apply to you though, so just ignore that portion. ruclips.net/video/93W-_vR_XoI/видео.htmlsi=SEliOTWrefmzpzv_
