It took years for me to get my first horse. I have been riding for 7 years and got my first three years ago. Thankfully I have a wonderful family but I had to prove to my dad about getting a horse. After several moves I finally got him, and I also have my second horse that I got a year ago :) never in my life would I get one when I was seven. I wouldn't be able to take care of it. Seven year old scant take care of horses properly, sorry to say but, it's just the mindset. They barely can take care of themselves. The parents will be doing all the work and the kids will only be riding or brushing.
How long did it take for you to prove to your parents because I've got to get on with doing that :( I just started sharing like 3 months ago though so I don't expect them to get one right away
Heyyy! If you’re seeing this, I’ve been riding for 5 years. I’ve proven my parents that I can take care of a horse. My mom, dad, aunt and cousins ride/rode horses.. my aunt owns 5 horses and a donkey yet doesn’t ride them EVER.. I’ve offered to ride them a million times.. we live on a horse plot where I ride a VERY naughty pony. I visit the horses everyday, I help out, I’ve worked REALLY hard on my grades and school for the past 2-3 years. I’ve been begging since I was 3. I rode my aunts donkey since the age of 6 but only started lessons when I started 3rd grade. I just need some advice if you don’t mind? I just wanna know what I’ve been doing wrong for the past few years😊😊
I've been crazy about horses for 18 years. I never even had even a rented horse. And opportunities to spend time with them outside of the hourly riding lesson (without jumping, sure). In my country a horse is only for rich people
I love ANIMALS so I would love a horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~I LOVE ANIMALS SO MUCH especially cats I love them most in the galaxy's /'universe / world~!!
Trigger was being terrible on the ground - no because he "wanted his girl" but because he had no respect or manners. Honestly, those girls didn't look like they knew how to ride or handle a horse. This is a huge mistake that parent's make, poor horses...
the parents seemed wayyyyyy more excited than the kids... i personally think they're too young to be receiving a gift this big... they didn't looked very grateful... but oh well, that's just my opinion. Just don't spoil them too much
+Alissa Mouche My grandniece was much younger... It all depends how you live and where. Not every kid starts yelling and screaming when getting a gift.
+Saartje Hond I wasn't just talking about yelling and screaming. Thank god not every kid does that. But with a gift this big, you would expect SOME sort of reaction out of them. Even if it was just a genuine smile, hug, or a thank you. Anything to show their gratitude. Parents do whatever they want with their children. I have no rights to interfere. But I personally believe they should teach their kids to appreciate every little thing in life and wait till they're old enough to really see the value of such big gifts.
My niece SOOOO loved horses that she would take care of the neighbors' so she could ride it when she could during middle school. For college, she found an equestrian school in KY and went four years where they learn the gamut of horses, training, and some vet stuff. Through school, she took care of and trained a horse (each student was responsible for an equine during the four years) and it turned out so good it was bought by NYC for their Equine Police Force...she got to see it work the streets of NY...It was fantastic for her! She now works as a barn manager for a horse farm and has spent many early mornings there in foaling season. It sure does make a parent happy when their child can make a living at something they LOVE :).
Every child needs parents that create magic in their lives. . dreams, anticipation, excitement, love . . . i did this with my grand kids every Christmas up until they were 16. . .
2 horses one saddle here is a fact that is very important in saving your horses back, not all saddles fit all horses the poor horses back you can tell the people don't know much about horses
I've taken care of a lot of livestock since I was big enough to carry a bucket and drag a hay bail, but never my very own horse. Now I'm a Grandma and this makes me so happy for these kids I can't put it into words.
+Zoe Moonluck it took a while, i got one when I went to the stables for years and took care of the horses there, dad also thought I was old enough to care for a horse
Update.... Kids are loving the horses and we now have four. They are gaming and running barrels as well as trail riding all over NC. The girls were in total shock, and have been taught NOT to scream and hollar around the barn. This venture has been life changing and I love to see the smile the horses being to everyone. My oldest daughter is a competitive surfer and could careless about horses..... lol .... she is coming around and enjoying watching the younger girls at game shows. She's even ridden a few times! :)
To everyone saying that these girls don't appreciate their horses... ever think that maybe they are in shock? that they have been taught better than to jump and scream? From what i understand this is not the familys first horse.
+lovebug511 i wish you will always keep it, i had my own horse, after so many time and o was so happy, it was my biggest dream. We hadn't money for the tack or riding lessons and so i learned how to ride bareback by myself. But there were a lot of trouble and i'm no more a horse owner. She was sold and i came to know that she died some months ago. R.I.P Estrela 😢 i hope you are in a better place now.
I mean I have 4... But I would make me feel real special if my mom or dad came up to me and gave me a horse I never knew about or seen yet fantisicted about. Or made a special event/ game to find the horse and be surprised :/
very strange.. nicely organized but the girls don't know what to do with the horses... dont even seem to know if they like them? I also think HELMETS should have been bought before socks and boots!

Wow u don't need to show Of u snob some people arnt as lucky as others I've been riding for about 10 years and guess what? I'm still begging so hard for a horse :)
Elixir, Im glad for you and all, but please we really dont care about when you got your horse or what your family owns! You are a lucky person and I really hope you go far in your equestrian skills just as much as I hope everyone that is still fighting for their own horse gets one! I have been waiting for my whole life for that moment when parents say " Heeyy guess what...." So yea good luck everyone! Dont give up on your dreamzzzz
What the heck I know I might be ungrateful right now and I am happy for what I have but I hope them girl have taken lessons for a while because I have took lessons for 5years and still don't have a horse and I've worked my butt off trying to talk my parents into getting me one and my God did they even say thanks and weren't even excited ik your trying to make you girls happy but I bet you could have by just buying them a kitten.
I want to call them ungrateful little brats like they weren't even a little bit exited but, they're kids. I can't criticize someone that most likely won't even remember what they were doing the next day.
I would of balled my eyes out if I got a horse. And yes... they would of been tears of JOY!!! I bet I will get one in.... um....... between 3-8 years? Pretty far, but I will save money and work my butt off to het one!
Wow, srsly? I have been waiting FOREVER for a horse for Christmas or my Birthday, I have asked countless times, and what do I get? Plastic figures... And my family tries to be funny by giving me fake ones, but I am not happy, and I don't take humor in it. It pisses me off so much...
Be grateful for what you get, some people get nothing. I'm skipping my birthday and christmas so my parents can get enough money for a horse, no tack included.
do you take lessons? if you don't then there is no point to getting a horse if you can't even ride. but if you have been for a long time then maybe but some family's can't afford stuff so be grateful
I find all of the negative comments so weird. I am surprised as none of you seem to know the families background or experience with horses. The girls looked grateful to me just surprised and they did show affection to them and ride them. Congratulations girls, you and the horses look beautiful and strong and it looks like you are confident with them and seem to have parents with lots of equine knowledge.
Sometimes it's better to have a bigger horse if they're calmer for a rider who's just learning to ride. They won't hurt the kid and will teach them a lot of lessons.
Madeleine Mayne I don't have a kid, but as a child I never rode a pony. Neither did a lot of the other kids I knew. One girl I know was small enough for a pony and rode a large Appaloosa for her lessons because he wouldn't go faster than a trot 90% of the time.
I'm happy for them, but there's no point of getting a horse for a young child that doesn't even know how to properly ride a horse, get riding lessons and get some common sense!?
Ikr unless you're a horse mom or dad that already have horses. Be prepared to care for the horses because they can't even care for themselves, just being honest.
If that was me I would have been crying my eyes out and hugging it ....tbh she seemed more excited about a horse being called budgie than she did when her mum told her she had a horse ,I hope they still have them now
if I got a horse I would literally cry of happiness and the kids didn't look even bothered about it. I do horse riding since I was very little and I would give anything to get a horse. 🐴
I just got a 3 year old gelding appaloosa palomino and I’m not a crier but I gave EVERYONE a hug and I was shaking for like an hour I was so happy and I said thanks like a million times and I have been asking for a horse for like 4 years and a families friend gave me one without my mom knowing and she said I would never have a horse lol so we’re boarding him now XD I’m so happy just got surprised yesterday
Every night before Christmas Eve, I curl up in my covers. I pray that tomorrow my aunt will come and hand me a box. I’ll open it, and inside will be a gorgeous halter. I’ll smile. And ask if it’s for my lesson horse. She’ll shake her head and say no. “It’s for your new horse” she’ll whisper. I’d start balling. Not able to stop. I’ll stop doubting myself. I’ll hug my aunt and never stop thanking her. I’d break from our hug and ask a million questions about my new horse. But then I’ll wake up and realize it was all a big dream. Then I’d begin to sob, then remember it’s time to get up and be strong. And go through Christmas Eve, and choke through my gifts. Thanking everyone crazily. Finally my aunt will hand me a box. Just like the one in my dream. I’ll hold my breath. I’ll open it with excitement. But I’m greeted by a shirt. I smile, tears at the brim of my eyes. I choke out a small thank you and a quick hug. My body trembling. They’ll leave and I’ll crawl back into bed, and begin my dreams for Christmas morning....
Every night before Christmas Eve, I curl up under my covers. I pray tomorrow my aunt will come and hand me a box. I’ll open it, and inside will be a gorgeous halter. I’ll smile brightly as I pick it up. I ask if it was for the lesson horses at my barn. She shakes her head as she whispers “No, it’s for your new horse.” I’d start balling not able to control myself. I’ll hug her so tight she wouldn’t be able to breathe. I’d be thanking her a million times a second. Finally I’d break from our hug and ask a billion questions about my new horse. But then I’ll wake up and begin to sob realizing all of this had been a dream. I remember it’s time to get up and be strong. So I lift myself out of my bedroom and go through Christmas Eve, choking through all my wonderful gifts. I thank everyone even though I hadn’t gotten what I truly wanted. Then my aunt would hand me a box, just like the one I’d dreamt about. I’ll hold my breath as I open it, excitement overtaking me. My hands shaking. I lift the lid slowly but I am soon greeted by a cotton shirt. I smile, tears brimming at my eyes. I manage a small thank you and a quick hug. I tremble with pain and disappointment, but I let no one see it. Eventually they leave and I am left alone once again in my room. I let tears stream down my face as I curl back into bed. And begin my dreams for Christmas morning....
It annoys me sooo much how those girls arnt even that happy they don't know what they have been given and how lucky they r ! I've been dreaming for a horse for 12 years and I'm still begging right now!
They're probably like me and it didn't register in their minds at first that this was all happening. That's how it was when I got my boy. That evening I wouldn't shut up tho 😂
I1m 14, and I have been riding for 8 years, and yet, my parents can afford a horse, but they will not get me one. And these girls aren`t even thankful. If I got a horse I would be hugging my parents 24/7 and never letting go, and look at how thankful these brats are....
If the parents can afford a horse why do they not have the right to buy one(if the will take care of it) these girls look like they can ride and I would be excited for the future with them x
I've been working, saving and begging for a horse for years. My family is poor as hell so I'd be so happy just to at least pet a horse one last time. These girls don't say thank you or even look happy. Every one is calling them ungrateful and yes they maybe but that's their parents problem.
THAT WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER AND THEY DIDN'T EVAN CARE ABOUT THE HORSES I WOULD CRY TEARS OF JOY AND I WOULD STAY WITH THE HORSE FOREVER AND THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE THE HORSES THESE GIRLS ARE SPOILD
Heels down toes up when your on a horse and keep your back straight and going up hill leen forward going downhill leen backwards and you can loosen and tighten your reins to get then to listen to you and to turn use your outside leg and kick (kicking them doesn't hurt the horse when your on them) and use the side of the reins and pull them the direction you want and always remember to check the cinch before you ride if your saddle has a cinch. Have fun with your new horses! :)
I Sean your video two times and I hope you have fun with your horses and merry chrstmas at Mr frostys with your horses. PS I have been riding horses sense I was three . 🎠🎠🎠
if i got a horse like that or in any way i would cry my fluids out cuz iv have been waiting and waiting to get a horse of my own. i only have an image of that horse in the future that im riding gracefully and happily
To be honest, They did not seem that thankful at all! Only at the part when they went to the door and said " santa are you there? " And a tiny bit when they saw the saddles. But I would be super duper happy to get TWO of my own horses. But my dream to get two horses as a kid/teenager is never going to happen. Sadly. :'(
If i got a horse i would be crying they weren't even that excited
Kazia Maguire Bruce I’d be dying I have only ever dreamed of a horse
They’re children an people react to things differently
Same I’m genuinely crying right now because they don’t seem to care at all!
omg same. if i got a horse i would never ask for anything else again
This is obviously a horse family tho.

They were in complete shock.
. In the video you will see Olivia is wiping her tears and Piper says... "I don't know what to say". :)

THE ONE GIRL LIKED THNE HORSE IN THE STALL BETTER THAN HER HORSE
that's because they have more than one horse, and she thought it looked like her other one, turns out that was her other horse..
Lauren101 yea

Trigger was being terrible on the ground - no because he "wanted his girl" but because he had no respect or manners. Honestly, those girls didn't look like they knew how to ride or handle a horse. This is a huge mistake that parent's make, poor horses...

i personally think they're too young to be receiving a gift this big... they didn't looked very grateful...
but oh well, that's just my opinion. Just don't spoil them too much
exactly I've been doing horse riding for a year now and I would have died if somebody bought me a horse

I ride horses for 7 years and if someone buy me a horse i will be so happy
+Alissa Mouche My grandniece was much younger... It all depends how you live and where. Not every kid starts yelling and screaming when getting a gift.

Also at 9:19 that little girl wasn't even standing near her horse she was standing far way from it
My niece SOOOO loved horses that she would take care of the neighbors' so she could ride it when she could during middle school.
In a couple of photos they weren't even wering helmets
So?😂
and??
Every child needs parents that create magic in their lives. . dreams, anticipation, excitement, love . . . i did this with my grand kids every Christmas up until they were 16. . .

If I got a horse I'd be balling my eyes out I've dreamed of having my own horse sooo long I'm just dying for one now 😢
Dilynn Miner You could lease one!! Just like owning one but not having to pay for anything but the fee of leasing!
Ya I know but I don't even have space but only at my grandpas house
the horse stays at the barn you just only have to go to the barn on the days you lease
vivvbh
you can one of mine....I have 5 😂😂
I've taken care of a lot of livestock since I was big enough to carry a bucket and drag a hay bail, but never my very own horse. Now I'm a Grandma and this makes me so happy for these kids I can't put it into words.

I am riding for 10 years now and i should be endlessly happy if someone bought me a horse!💕
No hate or anything but because they r so little they should be wearing helmets xx
The palomino was like dont u dare hold my face
To everyone saying that these girls don't appreciate their horses... ever think that maybe they are in shock? that they have been taught better than to jump and scream? From what i understand this is not the familys first horse.
Delaney Osborne haha i’m the little blonde in the video, i was shocked and thank you for putting that out there💛

very strange.. nicely organized but the girls don't know what to do with the horses... dont even seem to know if they like them? I also think HELMETS should have been bought before socks and boots!
they have there parents by there side there fine
No, that's not going to stop their heads getting squashed in if they fall under the horses' feet if they suddenly spook.
+pittielove I was 4 when I learned how to gollop and jump bareback+ they there with there parents
+pittielove I bought boots before my first helmet.. Of course I still borrowed helmets, but my boots came first because they were cheaper..

you made me cry. Beautiful surprise that will remember all life.
I don't think you should get a seven year old a horse. I mean when she gets older she might lose interest then you're stuck with the horse.
I wish I was as lucky as these girls to get my very own horse at that age, My mother says if I keep riding for at least 3 more year I'll be able to Lease a horse,But a horse of your own is very amazing. I hope these girls have enjoyed thier horses

I want to call them ungrateful little brats like they weren't even a little bit exited but, they're kids. I can't criticize someone that most likely won't even remember what they were doing the next day.
They didn't say anything because they were shocked
they were vary exited and felt shocked
Delaney Ziesemann they're kids get over it. They were in shock and were taught not to yell in the barn.
I would of balled my eyes out if I got a horse. And yes... they would of been tears of JOY!!! I bet I will get one in.... um....... between 3-8 years? Pretty far, but I will save money and work my butt off to het one!
Yea
i love seeing people happy at Christmas when they get a horse
He's not quite fond of people I can tell I'll bet He was once gonna be dog food but someone rescued him/her

Is olivias an Appaloosa!!!!!!!! 😍 they are so pretty i want a horse so bad i love riding!! And horses!!
He was! He was the best horse I had ever owned!:)
That happens to my friend so much she has over 70 horse figures 😐😔
+NeonPastry , but I think 0 p pOdd9
get a job and save up. Horses are like kids, theyre expensive and take a lot of care. Theyre not handed over like a pet bunny
I find all of the negative comments so weird. I am surprised as none of you seem to know the families background or experience with horses. The girls looked grateful to me just surprised and they did show affection to them and ride them. Congratulations girls, you and the horses look beautiful and strong and it looks like you are confident with them and seem to have parents with lots of equine knowledge.
that girl is way to small for the horse
Sometimes it's better to have a bigger horse if they're calmer for a rider who's just learning to ride. They won't hurt the kid and will teach them a lot of lessons.
OK has your child even riden
Madeleine Mayne
I don't have a kid, but as a child I never rode a pony. Neither did a lot of the other kids I knew. One girl I know was small enough for a pony and rode a large Appaloosa for her lessons because he wouldn't go faster than a trot 90% of the time.
I had a Clydesdale and a Friesian horse at the age 4
So
Literally what I do in my spare time is watch these videos
I'm happy for them, but there's no point of getting a horse for a young child that doesn't even know how to properly ride a horse, get riding lessons and get some common sense!?
Really? .... she's winning events all over NC. Think before you speak.
That is exactly how I feel!
Ikr unless you're a horse mom or dad that already have horses. Be prepared to care for the horses because they can't even care for themselves, just being honest.
K
Preachhhhh
I love horses since I was 3 and I am 17 now so I am crying right now 😢😢😢
their older sister is not impressed
If that was me I would have been crying my eyes out and hugging it ....tbh she seemed more excited about a horse being called budgie than she did when her mum told her she had a horse ,I hope they still have them now
😠😱😨😧😦😯😤😲No that's gust crool they didn't even go riding 😐🙁😞🐎
They did ride.. Did you watch the whole video?
I watched all the way through but it didn't look like they had ever ridden because they both looked a bit scared on them

Hollie Freeman Oh
if I got a horse I would literally cry of happiness and the kids didn't look even bothered about it. I do horse riding since I was very little and I would give anything to get a horse. 🐴

I just got a 3 year old gelding appaloosa palomino and I’m not a crier but I gave EVERYONE a hug and I was shaking for like an hour I was so happy and I said thanks like a million times and I have been asking for a horse for like 4 years and a families friend gave me one without my mom knowing and she said I would never have a horse lol so we’re boarding him now XD I’m so happy just got surprised yesterday

lucy miles cute❤😂
She shakes her head as she whispers
“No, it’s for your new horse.”
I’d start balling not able to control myself.
Why are they wearing makeup?!!
The saddle is beautiful!!!
Ungrateful
they just dint know how to react i dont think they were ungrateful.
Pink Unicorn they are not ungrateful they are just happy. And in shock. I think they are very grateful little girls
JustAnotherHorseCrazyGirl
It annoys me sooo much how those girls arnt even that happy they don't know what they have been given and how lucky they r ! I've been dreaming for a horse for 12 years and I'm still begging right now!
They're probably like me and it didn't register in their minds at first that this was all happening. That's how it was when I got my boy. That evening I wouldn't shut up tho 😂
I would be so grateful I would literally drop to my knees and cry 😭
who went missing? 😭 thats so sad to hear on CHRISTMAS i hope no one acutally went missing
I love your horses so much
merry christmas girls. congrantz on your awesome gifts! :)
you are two very lucky girls
I just love how trigger actually did want His little girl 😍😍 i am getting a horse I'm so excited😄
that little blonde girl going on about Mr frosty killed me those faces haahahabah
I1m 14, and I have been riding for 8 years, and yet, my parents can afford a horse, but they will not get me one. And these girls aren`t even thankful. If I got a horse I would be hugging my parents 24/7 and never letting go, and look at how thankful these brats are....
If the parents can afford a horse why do they not have the right to buy one(if the will take care of it) these girls look like they can ride and I would be excited for the future with them x
i agree with Alissa, one smile wouldn't have scared the horses and might have made this video alittle more enjoyable to watch
That is so adorable and sweet ❤🥰🤗💕
The good old Elf on the shelf. 😂
Me to I love horses they are so adorable
I've been working, saving and begging for a horse for years. My family is poor as hell so I'd be so happy just to at least pet a horse one last time. These girls don't say thank you or even look happy. Every one is calling them ungrateful and yes they maybe but that's their parents problem.
THAT WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER AND THEY DIDN'T EVAN CARE ABOUT THE HORSES I WOULD CRY TEARS OF JOY AND I WOULD STAY WITH THE HORSE FOREVER AND THEY DON'T EVEN LIKE THE HORSES THESE GIRLS ARE SPOILD
awwwwwwww me tooIid run to my room after petting it for an hour and scream "yes yes yeeeeeeeeeeeeesss"
She wasn't even freaking out I would be happy crying sooooo hard
do they know how to ride?
Lookin at them probably not
Morgan Grace oof
if i got a horse like that or in any way i would cry my fluids out cuz iv have been waiting and waiting to get a horse of my own. i only have an image of that horse in the future that im riding gracefully and happily
To be honest, They did not seem that thankful at all! Only at the part when they went to the door and said " santa are you there? " And a tiny bit when they saw the saddles. But I would be super duper happy to get TWO of my own horses. But my dream to get two horses as a kid/teenager is never going to happen. Sadly. :'(
WOW, the best Christmas everrrr!!!!!!!! Im so jealous 😄. 🙏😚💕💕💕💕
She seemed mor happy about knowing the name is f the horse in the stable than receiving the horse
What would you do if you have a horse but not a big area or a paddock?
I bet they had a blast having there own horse
they dont even look thankful i would be so thankful and crying
