Notes:
1. Please wear protective mask and nitrite glove during the progress.
2. Hard type epoxy resin are suitable for making jewelry, river table, tabletop coating and more.
3. For Weight ratio A:B 3 : 1 Example 9grams A mix with 3grams B
For volume ratio A:B 2.25 : 1 Example 22.5ml A mix with 10ml B
4. Suggest to add slightly more hardener (5% extra) if use volumetric measurements.
Instruction for mixing Epoxy Resin 3:1:
1. Clean your mold and tools.
2. Mixing epoxy resin (A:B in weight ratio 3:1)
- Epoxy requires a minimum mass of material for the chemical reaction to occur properly. I suggest to mix minimum 9 grams of resins (Part A) with 3 grams of hardener (Part B).
3. Pour Resin (Part A) to Hardener (Part B) into an empty plastic cup (normally I'm using silicone cup).
4. Make sure to mix the 2parts epoxy according to the weight ratio 3:1 (Part A:B)
5. Stir the mixture slowly using stick, mini spoon or silicone stick. This will minimize the possibility of air bubbles forming in the mixture.
6.Let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes to allow any air bubbles to rise to the surface then remove the bubbles by using torch lighter.
7. Pour the epoxy resin into mold. Remove any air bubbles which may have formed during the application. Simply place the toothpick on the bubble and draw it towards the surface then remove it using torch lighter.
8. Once applied, please allow minimum 16hours for the mixture to be cured.
9. Be sure to check on it periodically to make sure no air bubbles have formed in your design.
