@@MariaEsteves-d1x i actually hate pranks as a whole thing... why would anyone even do it and find it funny? just a little shock can easily hurt someone
@gabisek1111 they find it funny until they’re in that situation… I wish the manager that got fired was put in their situation so the manager would know that this “prank” is terrifying and traumatizing.
I just have to point out that in the Stray Kids one, I.N, their maknae, immediately turned off the camera when he saw what was happening (he knew the camera was filming him because they were fake filming for a different content, he turned off the camera but it didn’t turn off completely so the audio was still on), he was the youngest but he was the only one who thought to do that as he thought it was something serious.. very professional at such a young age back then! Also, Changbin didn’t believe the detective as he said he 100% knows JYPE won’t ever rig charts.. Talk about standing your ground and having faith in your company! Lee Know and Seungmin also didn’t fall for the prank, when their manager got arrested, they IMMEDIATELY knew it was a prank lmao, pretty sure they also believe completely that JYPE will never rig any charts
I feel the others not turning off the camera is also a good thing Cos what if it was real and then they were accused of doing something or saying they didn’t say or do, that will serve as an evidence. Some fans are very quick to cancel an artist and no matter what they say to defend themselves some fans will still hate and be malicious toward them. But with something to back them up I think it a good thing too
I agree with everything you said but also want to add out that Changbin called out the detective for being rude to him 🤣 Binnie sticking to his principles of being civil and polite 😍
The kidnapping of BTS was a traumatic crime. But the SKZ one is a pure gold, and the hilarious things the detective said to them, I was laughing so hard!
I feel as though some of these pranks go a little too far. For example, the BTS one with the kidnapping would have left me absolutely traumatized, especially because they were in a foreign environment for the very first time.
I'm not entirely sure but I think the BTS kidnapping thing wasn't actually a prank. I remember that story from before and they were in a foreign country and were going to head back but were kidnapped by the president of the country. And when they got to the place they spoke about where they had to sit down in the hotel, the president came out and welcomed them to his country and said his daughter was a huge fan of theirs and he wanted her to meet them. But he didn't know if they had time so he decided to just take them to the place for a short visit. That's at least what I remember seeing before as this story was on YT before by another channel and it spoke of what I just wrote. So it wasn't actually a prank it was a real thing.
I think they were let go directly after they met the daughter afterward bc the president had only wanted them to meet his daughter before they left the country.
@@DaisyMae16 Ah, maybe it was! I just remembered it was a kpop group that had a very similar story. Since I saw this story here I thought it was BTS. Didn't know BTS had the almost exactly the same story, that's a little weird.
The funniest thing is that once txt were going about to go live, they all sat and was about to be ready but i think one of them suddenly asked a question "do you like hard peaches ir soft peaches?". That was actully Seungmin who saw the camera while Lee Know and Bangchan quickly figured out it was a prank. Hyunjin was pranked and even wanted to call his mum
The BTS elevator one made me have a lasting good impression of Jin. He was the only member who showed concern for the crying girl and asked what's wrong and tried to comfort her. Granted, she's pretty so maybe men would easily be interested in her affairs but most people would usually not want to get tangled in other people's apparent problems regardless of their attractiveness. Jin was so nice to show concern. Another idol who got pranked similarly and showed niceness is Yesung from Super Junior. Early in their careers, the members got pranked into what seems to be like a blind date with a fan (not entirely sure, it wasn't subbed and my Korean isnt perfect) and the fan/date was an obese girl. The other members tried to back out and ran away and were being rather mean with their reactions, but Yesung was the only one who treated her nicely. I think the PDs were disappointed with his reaction of being nice (maybe because it was normal/boring and wasn't funny like other members being scared or running away from a fat date) so they instructed the girl to act creepy, and when she did, of course Yesung tried to respectfully end the date early.

The groups have enough trauma with fans. The one on one group member to group member could be funny, but the girl in the elevator, the girl with the supposed boyfriend - poor taste. The girls performing to no reaction - no cool at all. The detective stop - No. The group being kidnapped - oh Hell No. I can't imagine how any of them felt after that. A foreign country, at night and taken against their will. The non group member to group member is pretty damn sick and cruel.
