they just recently went to iceland and mexico... they have been to alaska as well... and thats within just a few seasons not to mention usa is larger then most of europe...... which is where british top gear goes around and they have been all around usa.. givin time they will go many more places

People think that running a channel for the BBC is easy. It requires contracts that can't be broken without a huge fine. No one wakes up and decides if they feel like uploading Top Gear or Top Gear USA today. It is just how it is.
Guys, dont hate. Its not bad, Top Gear USA is only focusing on the main show, and that is the challenges.

Top Gear USA isn't all that terrible. They just need hosts that have the same charisma and charm as the UK brand. That is what really made the Britannia version shine. The cars were just an added bonus.
Only reason people hate Top Gear US is because it's called Top Gear. If it had a different name, there would be no hate.

I liked the last season. Once they stopped emulating the BBC version and did their own thing with the road trips and challenges it got much better.

Just because he can't drive, doesn't mean he has to ruin the audio for everyone watching
BBC leads both productions of the UK and US version. I hate the US version, don't get me wrong, but it isn't entirely accurate when people say they "copy" one or the other. Both productions are part of the BBC, so you should expect some astounding similarities (challenges, set design, etc).

While Top Gear UK is better there is still a place for Top Gear USA. We get to hear about more American cars and see more North American stars. For those that don't like the USA version, no one is forcing you to watch the videos.

Now, I live in America, but I fucking hate Top Gear USA. Good intentions, I'm sure, but nothing will ever come close to Top Gear UK in terms of car shows. I'm so glad BBC America exists so I can watch it.

i really don't understan this irrational hatred of many against top gear USA. they're really doing all they can. i know the Uk version can not be matched in any way and i'm sure they know as well. it's just fun to see wgat 3 other guys do with the top gear format. and Tanner Foust is One of the best drivers in the world.
the only reason I liked this is cus he said his first car was a "1971 Mach 1 Mustang".... which was also my first car :)

I don't think there should be THIS many dislikes. The interview wasn't that bad. Adam's at least enjoyable hear from... Not defending Top Gear US, I still prefer UK. But this clip wasn't despicable.

You are wrong Mr. Levine about the east coast car enthusiast. It takes a lot of love to keep a nice car through the salt and snow. Have fun with your Aston, make sure you top up on blinker fluid.
I quite like some bits of the US version.
I do have to say that Levine has good taste in cars. Really like the DB9 and the DBS
Please Top Gear, get rid of Top Gear USA. Coming from an American I would much rather have a larger budget for the UK team and no more Top Gear USA. I'm sure many other enthusiasts would agree.

Ken Block is an amazing driver and of course there ARE a lot of good drivers in the US, however it's true about Americans in general that they don't really drive manual cars all that well.

I always leave disappointed when I watch a clip only to find out it's Top Gear USA. Usually I don't even bother watching it. This one I managed to finish though...but I wish I hadn't.
I don't know why you have to hate Americans more than anything and dislike videos cause it's in America even though the best videos are made here

US hosts lack the onscreen chemistry that the UK hosts have. And basically, it's just a poor imitation of the original Top Gear. The original is always the best.

just this last season they have dropped this segment and dropped car reviews to distinquish their own unique style...... not as good as british but definitly an entertaining show the new set up is all three do a challenge then after the last commercial break the winner of the challenge gets to do a race or challenge or whatever it may be

They copied the Jay Leno on the UK version with the story of being pulled over. I dont know how no one else has noticed that it was copied even down to the body language, voice tone, and facial expressions.
