[Spanish Accent] There are various types of accents produced when a native Spanish language speaker, speaks American English. Depending on their origin, the sound of their accent will vary. Within Spanish speaking countries there are regional differences as well. The broader term “Spanish accent” is a colloquialism used to generally describe an accent produced by a Spanish language speaker from many different countries. Not to be confused with an accent from a person native to Spain. Accents are ASMR triggers for many people. For SEO reasons I use the general term “Spanish accent” to attract people who enjoy accents from Spanish-language speaking countries. I do speak the Spanish language however this is not my natural born accent, since I was raised in the United States. The specific accent I perform is one of my own bloodline heritage and a huge trigger for me which is why I chose to share it. The purpose of this accent is to trigger tingles in the viewer.

If anyone can read Spanish and wants a more detailed (read: college level) account of the history of Puerto Rico, I would highly recommend "Puerto Rico Cinco Siglos de Historia". I learned more about my own history reading that book than all my years in a boring classroom combined.

Just keep in mind that it's a college textbook, so it might get into some dry data parts, but I really liked it because it pretty much followed a chronological order, from the formation of the island to the first pre-Taino cultures to modern times.

Yay for a new Irma vid!! Also, love the PR info. I lived there for a few months when I was in kindergarten. At Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla (which was closed, mostly, in 1974). Our school had a tiny outside space to play, but they kept a pet pelican there for some reason. We were all terrified of it. Otherwise, I mostly remember lizards in my bedroom, sugar cane fields, and many many days at the beach. Beautiful place.

Love it. The barbershop setting is always extremely soothing, and I'm a big fan of the soft mic scratching and whispering in any context. The history lesson is fascinating, I was not aware that PR has a large Chinese population but now I definitely have to try the food, lol. Chinese / Latin-Caribbean fusion sounds like a strict win.

The food is fanatastic! If you like shrimp, there's a dish (I forget what it's called) but it's Chinese Puerto Rican style sauce that's mildly spicy. It's divine! The blend of the cultures are epic. 🤗

I really enjoy how you often provide us with relaxation and education simultaneously. If my high school and university professors would have delivered the lessons the way you do, I would have been riveted to their every word. And I'm pretty sure I would have become an absolute genius 👨🎓 Today I learned about the iconic and proud jibaros, and the taíno people. I also learned that something I have been eating regularly for years (barbacoa) is the origin of barbeque. Thank you taínos!
I love the sound and vapor of the steamer in your videos 😊 The steamer and your whispers at the same time - that is the top shelf stuff 🥇💯🎯 And the sugar scrub is back!! You and that scrub create the sounds of ASMR dreams 😊 But you were just getting started. You have really figured out how to produce amazing crema stirring sounds in your barbershop molcajete. And those scritch-scratch blade on "my" face sounds 😊 The little can and hand actions of applying the balm was really soothing, like the little cans and actions used for shoe shine.
❔ Was it fun to saying 'bioluminescence' with that accent? Because it sure sounded good hearing it 😀 Finally, not the most important thing but... the black line of makeup across your eye lid (eye-liner?) is super well applied 🤩 If you performed that application precision yourself, wow!! 👏 Another excellent and soothing video!
