Hey Jerry , Biman Bangladesh doesn’t serve alcohol in their flights , they are Muslim and strict airline to serve alcohol, thanks for watching ✈️✈️

Generally Biman is good, 3star i would say. They are investing in more new planes. Good customer service, but can improve. Food is excellent. London to Sylhet is direct, so most and particularly elders and family take Biman

I went with Biman for 3 weeks to Bangladesh from the UK at the end of February 2024. It was 10 hour non-stop flight to Sylhet. It was ok in the sense that 10 hour felt like it went quick due to me taking naps every now and then.

My dubai-dhaka experience was terrible. Had an old 777-300. IFE was not working. Food was terrible, and everyone had their carry-on weighed and charged 100s extra.

My parents come from bangladesh and I was Born in portugal and live in germany, yes ik why they bring boxes cuz when we visit bangladesh its cuz we visit our family and many else and we try to give everyone Gifts and we need many weight for it we bring Boxes cuz boxes arent as much heavy as the suitcases the suitcases is waay heavier than the boxes so we bring few boxes to get more weight.I hope I helped everyone

Boxes are disposable lightweight luggage. They are shopping for things you can’t easily get in BD and bringing them home.

Boxes weigh very less then an empty luggage which weighs 2/3 kilos minus from your luggage allowance.

Yes I remember, the seats that you will have a wall infront are :14A,14B,14C,14D,14E,14D,14F,14G,14H,14J and 27A,B,C,E,D,F,G,H,J this is the B787 you have to check which aircraft you will fly on that day
