    this is my dream . I got the motor , looking for a good boat. Next will be learning how to catch crabs like you ! I live in los angeles and I would love to go to santa barbra and do the same thing ! oh man ! that's amazing !!!

      I was kinda scared when I got that crab, it was way bigger than expected, took some time but eventually did.

      Thanks for asking! No fee to use the boat ramp but there is a parking fee :) normally from $10-15

    nice! what is the blue pole beside the engine?

      hi! thanks for asking, the blue pole is the handle for the electric trolling motor I'm using, it's called bixpy motor that runs on bixpy battery so it's good way to drift for halibut fishing or trolling slowly. Also good back up motor in case something happens to the main engine too

    with this setup, how far do you make out from the shore that you consider safe?

      I can normally go out 1-2 miles out max, I don't really need to go further for any fishing since I do more shoreline fishing anyways but if I need to, i feel pretty safe going further, it's just I have a small outboard motor so probably not a good idea to go far :)
