💓💓 just remember da9/db1's are the older cousin of the EF's. Enjoy all the post. Check which terminal you have connected to the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the block you might have the fan relay plugged in as the oil pressure switch.
This. Happened to me a couple of times.
its a single prong wire. fan switch is on the tstat housing which is 2 prong plug.
Yo it's the coolant sensor is why it's staying on those two wires if you jump with clip it will turn fan on brother

Double check valve lash my accord did that on my f20b when a couple of the intake valves were adjusted too tight
in the video, you can see me doing the valve lash. most were in spec, probably 2-3 were tight.

I has a similar issue with my ef lsv set up when I tried jumpers to convert to obd1. I eliminated all factor then broke down n got the chasebay obd1 conversion harness. It was the best purchase I made
I still rock my Built2Drive keytag on the key for my 612 whp built turbo EJ8 and my Mk4 VW Golf. I also have the B2D license plate frame on my EJ8 with Downstar hardware...damn I wish I would've bought the hoodie too!

yeah we did the same with my ecu in his car, only thing is, hes on crome.
@@YoungStatic yeah I always had problem using Chrome and the free software that and boost cuts don't work ever since I upgraded to hondata it's a world better but I will say this I had a 450 whp prelude on the pro chrome and the soft ware was amazing have you looked it to Honda tunning suite to can burn chipped ecu and all that great stuff works like a charm I'll never use free chrome again it's free and alot like Neptune and boost but works you can disable any sensor and I mean any and you can flash 8 gen civics if you got the right cord

You mentioned you need a eld i learned from my teggy that you can just use a honda crv electronic load detector. It worked well for my b18b1 and have yet.to have another electrical issue
its not that i "need" it. its a code i need to address. car did not have this code before the conversion. but eliminating the ebay jumpers, the codes are gone.
@@YoungStatic that makes sense my teggy was a wiring nightmare so the live starter wire arked under my dash and fried my eld. But i have a question for you if you can answer it. I want your opinion im about to invest in a full set of coilovers for my rsx i was looking into getting some tien but im iffy on the quality should i just bite the bullet and fork over the money for some bc racing ones instead because my stock struts are shot and i want to improve my ride quality.

sure it was said already but that fan has constant 12v power it is turned on and off by supplying or removing the ground

Eld code will come up if you have the two white wires in the wrong place in the fuse box. Don’t know if it’s the same as civic but if so that may be your issue.
Nothing in the fuse box was touched. Engine harness was still attached to the main harness and just the ones on the engine were unplugged. It’s the ecu jumper that had wires in the wrong spot.

Hey man don't take this the wrong way but when you torque you do not need to double click it. You want the click to happen mid swing. If you do not and it happens at the beginning or end you can loosen it and retry. That will help you so you don't over torque. I see too many people do this wrong.
I torque arp to 90lb sometimes. These are also arp and it was torqued to 80. Double click is fine. Single click on stock bolts, those you don’t want to over tighten. I appreciate your attention to it.

Go look up videos on proper torque wrench use if you don't believe me and I was being nice. Just giving advice. If you don't want it that's fine. Daniel Terry if you had to take a class on how to use a torque wrench... you probably shouldn’t be working on whatever your working on that requires a torque spec.. I’m just an asshole, sorry about that... but geez man. You really are overthinking it.
Daniel Terry even the wrong way will get all the bolts tight.. and if you torque every bolt the “wrong way” evenly they will probably all be around the same ft. Lbs when your done. Lol

SH3LLSHOCKR is it currently manual? I say teach her the basics and let her learn around you neighborhood or school parking lot if so. The only difficult part is learning how to start consistently. Most teens crash when they’re not paying attention anyway. A manual means she’ll be less likely to pull out her phone while driving. Also, it’s a great way to make sure her friends don’t pressure her into letting them borrow her car or drive it. Just my 2 cents. You’re the parent.

I can’t tell you how many ads I see on Craigslist or Facebook where the guy is like “yeah, my son/daughter don’t want a manual so I have to get rid of this.” I never realized how driving a manual is such a chore for some people. its something in the ebay jumper harness. car has been running just fine by eliminating them and going back to obd0
YoungStatic oh Oky. I was asking because my obd1 b18b has a low idle misfire and I’ve been having trouble figuring it out. Decided to do a tune up, spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel filter, dizzy cap and rotor, valve lash adjustment and cleaned the IACV. Compression test, looked down the cylinders to see if the head gasket was leaking. And nothing lol.
@@hypedecals4509 igniter and coil are serviceable parts too. also, injector voltage if you could check that.
YoungStatic I’ll test the injectors. You thinking it could be a leaking injector? Or maybe a clogged injector?? It’s crazy I’ve had this engine for 6 years bone stock and never had a issue till now xD
