For those looking for where to buy hardware...for hat projects in the past I used Cap Supply Co for brims and sweatbands. The brims are pretty stiff which make the connection between the front panel and brim a nightmare. I like the idea of EVA foam! Rockywoods is a great resource for center release buckles and webbing. Looking forward to trying your pattern soon!
Definitely going to pick this pattern up when you release it. I've wrestled with making hats in the past, and always get hung up around brim and sweatband attachment. You have several new ideas to me that make me want to give it another shot.
Don't expect to make just one. Hats are a fun and challenging project. Is a new trail hat in your midst? Checkout the materials and pattern link in the video description.
Hell yeah, can't wait to upcycle some hiking jackets into these caps!
@@RobotRogue these are a great upcycle project. One jacket could make so many hats

That is SO awesome. I can't believe I haven't tried making a hat yet, looks like that's going to change soon! Thanks for another awesome project!

Hope to inspire you to try again and hopefully reach success
This is terrific. I can't wait to get started!
Thanks 🍻

Great hat making video! What is the thickness of the EVA foam for the brim? Where do you get it from? Many thanks!
@@KevinMaloney-h3t I’ve used 2-4mm. I prefer 3mm, and that’s the recommended option in the pattern. It’s available at most craft stores or Amazon
@@LearnMYOG Thanks! I appreciate it.
After watching your video👍👍, it is really attractive. I am a luggage factory from China. Is there any chance for us to cooperate?🙏🙏
