Great video Tom, lakes is my next thing to try this winter. Some more technique/gear vids would be great, like typical lake fishing setups and rigging. 👍🏽
Yeah I am also thinking about venturing out to the lakes this winter for the first time. Any tips would be awesome. Can you fish Lake Wendouree just wading pretty do you need a boat?
Things of interest/tips, etc.? A short presentation of what you see as necessities in respect of an ideal lake flyfishing boat and its fittings - essentials, nice to have, optional, etc., etc. would be of interest. If you can't get out, it's one that could be done in the driveway. Cheers . . .
Interesting thing about this lake you can actually use a torch at night on clear nights and see the large fish. Then cast to them from the shore. Have a crack at it Tom. Round 10 ft out. This lake fished better before they allowed it to dry out then had to restock it. The rainbows love Craig's night time flys.
look after your dad, dear friend. when he gone you will miss him. My late beloved dad got me into fly fishing.
Was thinking the same thing. Lots of great fly fishing memories.
Absolute nemesis lakes to me, you make it look so easy Tom!, thanks for the vids, gives me some hope!
