Of course! Thank you so much for all of your help in the research! I've added the Houdini Vanishing Elephant act to my list of future topics to explore!
@ I’m glad it was an interesting fun topic to explore! I can’t wait for the museum to reopen. I tell my husband whenever we do our family trip to the zoo and lunch at Ralph’s and Rich’s next door that I can’t wait for the museum to open he has never been.
The area where I live also has a ghost elephant apparently. Where I live is a valley with some mountains around it. At the top of one of them is a zoo. A long time ago the zoo got an elephant, but for whatever reason the initial plan they had for getting her to the top of the mountain just didn't work. So they made her walk up the mountain. And since she was an old elephant, and the weather was cold, walking up the mountain made her sick. It eventually killed her. Now she allegedly haunts the mountain
I did some research years ago when I heard Houdini performed at the Palace, I lived nearby, I went through the Waterbury news paper at the library and started in 1926 and went backwards, I was not able to find any articles or advertising for Houdini but I did find a advertisement for Blackstone and it noted a crate escape, maybe there was confusion with Houdini and Blackstone, Blackstone was another famous magician
Bravo! Excellent research very well presented. And thank you for the shout-out. :)

Thank you for taking my suggestion for a video! This is great! So well researched. Thank you!
Thanks for suggesting it! It took me a little time to research it thoroughly, but it was a fun topic!

Since I did this story, I have heard more and more ghost elephant stories. All of them sadder than the next

Entirely possible!
