I have a Epi hummingbird, and I love it. I can hear the difference between these two, of course, but as you said, one is 10x more expensive than the other, I dont think that the tiny difference is worth all that money.
Two of my friends bought two 70" TVs of different brands from a store. Seeing them side-by-side at the store, you can tell the twice as expensive one has better picture quality than the cheaper one. But when I visit them at their house, both TV looked equally pleasing. So, who is got better value?

Fun comparison! That Gibson sounds fantastic. I have the Epi Studio and love it.
Yes the Gibson sounds better but the epiphone is sounding ok! Ik think the epiphone gets better in time .
I have that ephiphone for 10 years. It’s sounds better with time too.

It also does this ..see below
what strings do you use for the epiphone?
The Epiphone Hummingbird Inspired by Gibson sounds much closer to the Gibson Hummingbird original than the Epiphone Hummingbird Studio.
I think the epiphone sounds better than the Gibson.

It's great that you give a job to a homeless guy. Also the Gibson sounds slightly better but it should, ten times the price?
