got one that needs to be replaced...thanks for the better idea of what's wrong with my car lol as a female i don't know too much about cars , but I'm learning. Thanks for this video!!!! ❤
I did mine with cylinder heads off during engine rebuild it was still a hassle! I did not change the o ring on that tube and am now paying the price of doing it again. Only way to go is removing the p/s pump but this time I'll remove the bracket also. Thanks for the video.
Man i just got mine out and it took me so long but now im leaving it for the morning It took me a day because other videos are showing me different but i was standing over it and telling asking my self if i was dumb or what i don't see what the see nor i have small hands to get under it like they did.
Hello, good morning, I have that same car, and it's warming up, and the heads were changed and so on, but it keeps heating up. He tells me the mechanic is the thermostat but I don't have any more arrangements. I would have to close it myself. Would you help me by guiding me, please
Tebeth Blaker use a cooling system pressure tester. Usually a radiator, water pump or heater/radiator hose. Sometimes warped head/bad gasket or heater core.
Johnell Pasley you must not have watch the whole video. Yes that’s the water pump leaking. Every water pump job on these engines get a new thermostat at the same time. This is a video on how to locate and change the thermostat. Also in the description and vocally I say it could be the water pump and show in the video how to determine which is causing the leak. Thanks for watching!

so did you have to replace the water pump?
What's the name of the aluminum tube that bolts into the thermostat housing
Heater line
So with this leak here, was this the weep hole leaking? And as such it is the water pump that is bad?
Only God knows.
Did that fix the problem got the same thin 05 2.7
Good vid 😀
How do you get the metal hose back in?

Any secret to getting the thermostat/gasket into the housing evenly. I can't seem to get it perfectly.
Perhaps something is warped? If I’m understanding your question correctly
@@FerKurl i appreciate the reply. The auto part store gave me the wrong part.
How would you suggest the mystery leak, when it only leaks when running hot and/or under pressure; then it disappears when off/cool?

a trick: watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Luca Khari definitely, have been watching on Flixzone for since december myself =)
Most thermostats and water pumps have a weep hole that leaks to let pressure off.
Im doing the same job to a chrysler 2006 does any have trouble removing the thermostat housing because for some reason it dont move
If all 3 bolts are out and that pipe is out of the way then pry it off
Disculpa como se llama ese tuvo
What's the part number to the o ring?
Not sure. That was awhile ago. Check with your local parts store
Also been looking for the part # for that o ring Chrysler dealer discontinued it where I live
Cómo se llama ese tubo
Thermastat gasket will fix it
Cosa fasil me cuesta quital el tornilito de habajo ufff
Thats the water pump leaking
The weap hold drans by the thermostat housing instead of in the oil pan
