I remember before RUclips even existed (and therefore *way* before ASMR was a trend), I used to rewatch the LOTR bonus DVD content *just* to hear Alan's soft voice over and over. They were fascinating besides, but it was really all about Alan.
Same here, so much so, in was waiting for someone to do a montsge.... then after years of waiting i thought 'bugger it!' And did it myself! So this video is the last of several i made. Plum out of Alan!

Whoah no fisticuffs! Theres some good ASMR folk out there but some just do it for clicks. All very well a busty young thing whispering crap into a felic mic may get the hits but Alan's the real thing. I wish i could get him to read a phone book or something!

Omg Yaaassss. I used to watch the directors commentary version of lord of the rings because Alan Lee's voice gave me ASMR tingles....actually many of the others did too like John Howe and I think Dan Henna (might be getting that name wrong, can't remember now)...quite a few of them had great asmr voices...but then everytime someone louder would talk like the weta dude I was like noooooo shhhhhhh and patiently wait for Alan to start speaking again. Lol
Oh god that Richatd fella from New Zealand. You would hear Alan's softly spoken tones then he'd come on almost shouting! This is a really nice video! I can only think of one thing that would have made it go from fantastic to heavenly, and that is this: Most of the time he talks about some specific drawing or some kind of artwork, so if that corresponding drawing would have appeared on screen as he talked about it, that would have been amazingly awesome. But I realize that would have taken a lot of work.

However this is the latest (maybe last) of a series of videos cobbled together from the extended dvds are footage is shown (but people have bemoaned their not long enough. Hence the mega length of this one, to help folk sleep!)
Bloody hell. They can be a pain in the ass! Its not an endorsement but I would recommend youtube premiere. A godsend being in lockdown as cuts all annoying ads out plus can download stuff at home and lwatch / isten to when out
@@Moochtv The best way I've found so far is to play it on PC where you can block the ads and/or stream/cast it to your TV. Playing it on a mobile device is just pure frustration.
