i just bought this program at the EEM event in Chatanooga TN 2017. Thanks for sounding like I feel while you demo this program. I was considering sew what pro but I bought Hatch due to the instructor and his fire plus I have a Husqvarna Viking Ruby and 6D is my software but they keep making one version obsolete before you can fine tune your skills to it!
Hello Sue, I have thoroughly enjoyed all your videos. I've watched a bunch of the Embird, Embrilliance, and now, this. I want to do my own digitizing mostly for logos. I like Embird but don't like how closed in it feels. Once you import an image, it closes the screen down to that. I like the Hatch a lot, but it's pricey (not in light of the big dogs, but in light of the others mentioned). I already have a couple of Embrilliance modules and find it pretty easy to use. I also have their first level of digitizing. It seems the easiest but I'm not sure if it provides everything I need. As an experienced digitizer and someone who has worked with all of these, do you have a recommendation. I would love to discuss it with you if there's a venue for that, such as facebook messenger or email. Or here's a thought, by telephone!
Thank you for your quick response. I do understand that I need what works best for me. It's just that I can't try all these softwares and am not yet a digitizing expert. That being said, in your expert opinion, what would be the program that you find easy (relatively) to work with and one that does what you need to do. My problem is mainly not knowing enough about digitizing. So I want to be sure I have a program that will give me a quality stitch. I can learn anything. I'm fairly proficient in Corel and I've worked with graphics for years. So, I know, with enough practice, I can learn the program. What I don't know is if each program will do what needs to be done and do it in a quality stitch out. When there are programs that cost thousands and programs that cost hundreds, I wonder what causes the difference. Is it just more bells and whistles? And are these bells and whistles needed for a quality sew out? Or are they just for fun and ease of use and things you might not really need. In other words, would Embrilliance, Embird, or Hatch do what I need to do as far as creating a nice logo? Not necessarily whether they are best for me but is their function such that they would give good results. I do not want to make a living digitizing. I just want to control my quality when I embroider a run of polo shirts with a logo. Thanks, again.
every time I move my mouse around it moves the grid board how do I prevent this? I cant follow along with you to teach me how to use this program. and my screen doesn't show the circle on the side once its done why?
Yes, yes, yes! I just discovered this program about a month ago and I am eagerly eating videos and learning all I can.
This video and channel was one of the reasons I picked Hatch. Thank You!
awesome, thank you!
This is a great basic, quick walk around to demonstrate some of the functions of this program. Thanks Sue.
🙂
Thanks Sue. I soooo agree with you about the automatic zoom. I think it's a real nightmare! LOL

Thank you Sue. I have just downloaded the 30 day trial. Are you working on the full programme with everything??
Thanks Sue
hi, can you make photo stitch outs on this software? and whats the difference between the e2 the this one you have?
I am trying to set up my program. I would like to see the designs in the library instead of the Hatch logo Any suggestions. Please
is this software compatible with any embroidery machine?
yes. you can create files in the native EMB format, and then export it to the machine.
Can someone tell me how does the Hatch software compare to the Janome Digitizer V5?
every time I move my mouse around it moves the grid board how do I prevent this? I cant follow along with you to teach me how to use this program. and my screen doesn't show the circle on the side once its done why?
how do you convert ART format to PES?
