ME TOO ! Ever since I was a kid, my Dad used to take me to Com Ed warm water discharge plant ! It was pretty famous for holding Salmon & Trout ! Especially through the cold months ! GIANT YELLOW LAKE PERCH THERE TOO !

I used to keep a boat in Waukegan Harbor for 8 years ! So many stories, So many memories !!! Many times limiting out for 6-8 people ! My fondest memories were battling fish flying about eight feet above the surface ! My sister-in-law caught her first skamania Trout flipping 8 feet above the water saying..."WHAT DO I DO, WHAT DO I DO" ??? I TOLD HER... WHATEVER YOUR ARE DOING, YOU ARE DOING IT ! JUST KEEP THE LINE TIGHT, AND THE POLE BENT ! She took home her first big fish that went eight pounds !

Nope, I've never fished trout/salmon on the great lakes. I've often wondered if those flashers would work for muskie trolling? Nice bunch of fish guys.

Sure they work if you are fishing deeper waters ! They do what they are called ...FLASHERS ! Their job is to flash light as they spin, or wabble through the water to attract a fish to investigate ! When they come in closer, that's when they notice your lure or bait !

We usually go up to Baileys Harbor during the Salmon tournament and catch em. Then after fishing week an half for em it makes trolling for walleyes boring lol.. Great video

Fun fact in the past few years the salmon and trout have been successfully spawning in the tributaries for the first time since they were introduced, which means the water is a lot higher quality

No, I've got plenty of days in musky fishing this year...just not good results.
Got a few musky vids coming up.
We have just been concentrated on catching Wisconsin strain big ones.
I'm sure we will visit a couple more destination waters here.
