- This week on my lifelong quest to find every animal in the UK, I'm tracking down owls! Now these chaps aren't easy to find... but luckily I have a hot lead on where to find some.
I'm closing in on my first 100 creatures now and when I reach that milestone I'll be making a special episode so feel free to subscribe if you would like to see that.

I've watched all of your videos since you've begun, so much so my kiddo asks how many you've found in total as soon as she hears your voice.
So pleased you found some owls, honestly so jealous I've only seen one in passing while it was flying in my local woodlands and it was incredible but to see it stationary would be a dream.

Try and find a location with older trees so they have hollows in for them to nest in, and then go from 7/10pm in June/July and you should get a much better chance of seeing one again 😃
TWO times to learn? You spoil us. Loving the schmooves on the grey wagtail, and I'd consider moorhen chicks to be cute carried entirely by how fuzzy they are. Thanks for another great video!

Had a similar experience, found a little owl perched on a small stone shed, got closer and a barn owl was resting in a small gap in the sheds stone walls.
That's awesome, they seem to get along quite well 😂
Moorhen chicks: definitely cute! In the way vultures and condors are cute? Maybe! They just got into mom’s makeup bag a bit early, that’s all 😂
I suppose so 😄 they're cute compared to things like slugs
Got a great sighting just last week of a long eared owl in woodland where I live, done a bit of Googling to find I’m quite fortunate to have seen it here in the U.K as they are very elusive. Safe to say I’m invested in your journey & enjoy the videos as I know how great the feeling is finding & watching these animals.

@@CreatureChroniclesUK it’s a little village outside of Newcastle Upon Tyne, a more coniferous woodland edging onto a golf course of all places, suspect it’s great for hunting on the open fair ways. I think they are throughout the country but difficult to sight. If your adventures bring you north & wanted specifics I can give you it! Good luck!
