      So do I !
I use to communicate with her whn I lived on cumberland island as a resident. Is this her daughter? I ask because I believe she passed away in 2017, unfortunately.

I was literally just on Jekyll and St. Simon's. This video made the islands look like a stress free paradise, but I did not have a nice experience on these islands. I went inside the Faith Chapel on Jekyll and there was a guy inside who told me if I want to see the inside of it after morning I have to pay $5 for a tour! There is NOTHING to tour. Never experienced anything like this in my life.
Then on St. Simon's we tried to get to the slave cabins, but every road we turned into dead ended into private property. And we had to pay an $8.00 fee to enter Jekyll island. St. Simon's seemed more mixed and welcoming, though hard to say since we couldn't experience the sites, but Jekyll was the worst and most overrated place I've ever been. They clearly don't want you there unless you're there to spend money. The island would be great but the people who live there have ruined. So much for Southern hospitality

There is no way that northern slavemasters are responsible for conservation. That lady put it beautifully, "Why would you want to go where there is traffic and crime and silliness, when you have everything that you have here?"
