In practice, Kimmich would be a good option, but to play like him, you need an appropriate tactical scheme to make him perform, and UTD needs to improve that
If we can buy new cb’s that allows us to play a consistent high line than I think we can be more consistent tactically and more connected as a team.

Jim Ratcliffe said in an interview United will not be buying established players like Kimmich. Ratcliffe wants to buy young talent. Why do you think he has brought Dan Ashworth in ? The man who got Brighton Caicedo, Mitoma and Trossard. At Newcastle he got them Isak. This is the way United will operate transfer wise. Yes Kimmich is good, but he's 29 year-old and would want big wages. Kimmich is the type of players United have been buying for the last decade !!! It doesn't work.
Been dreaming of Kimmich to Utd for years. Love him as a player, and think he‘d really suit Ten Hag. That said, he‘s not super quick across the pitch, and there have been some defensive question marks over the last 18 months. Coming from the Bundesliga, there are good reasons to be cautious. Schweini comes to mind.
All that said, I might be tempted to play him as an inverted right back. We‘d need some more width on the right side, but we are should be looking at right wing options anyway and Garnacho looks to be a strong option. Kimmich inverting and Kobbie dominating could be superb, and would create the opportunity for another ‘free 8’ style player. Box midfield of inverted Kimmich, Kobbie, Bruno and Mount sounds like it could suit those players very well. Mount’s industrious off the ball work could well serve to cover some of the frailty by having an inverted right back. Sounds a bit like Trent and Szoboszlai at Liverpool actually.

Exactly. I'd drive to Germany and pick him up if he was 27. We've tried buying established players later in their careers before and rarely has it worked out. I was buzzing for Casemiro, but in hindsight, maybe it would have been better going for someone like Tielemans instead who would have cost less and is a little younger.
Also, Chelsea went to the extreme when buying youngsters. Most are too young to build a team to challenge with. Probably Nkunku is the best they bought and he's in his mid 20s

I've been watching Bayern for over 40 years, had a season ticket between 1987 and 2014. Kimmich has gone off the boil in the last two years, I'd not be too sad to see him go if the price was right tbh.

I don’t understand Mark’s take on Ivan Toney wanting to start. Why is that a bad thing? He has said in numerous videos we should not be signing players to go to the bench. He’s always said we should be signing quality starting caliber players. So if Toney signs here then let him and Rasmus battle it out, same with Olise and any other winger. This is what you want in your squad, competition for places.
Because when Rasmus wins that battle you’ll have an unhappy player and more drama in the dressing room. Everyone needs to know their role.

Kimmich mentioned a couple of times how much he admires Pep as a coach. Also he kinda ruled out Clubs like PSG, United or Chelsea as his next club. He wants to join a club who can win the UCL short term.

You cant play Kimmich as holding midfielder anymore, at Bayern and the German national team he has reverted back to rightback. He is by no means a replacement for Casemiro.
That said, I do think he would be a great RB to get.
If you have seen Kimmich recently his best position is not 6 anymore... From a defensive prospective not a good option for United.
If rashford doesn't put full effort in for rest of the season it will prove he cant do that consistently then we should sell in the summer! Kimmich and Todibo would provide depth at CDM, RB and RCB due to their flexibility. Move on from Case, Amrabat, Maguire, and either Evans or Lindelof and that covers those two. Then only need LCB or LB who can play inside, striker and maybe another CDM like Onana.
What about offering Casemiro to Bayern, in a deal for Kimmich
