I love the editing on these videos...in amongst the info and updates there's always the little quips and cheekiness, just little snippets of everyone's day...it's great. Very enjoyable. :D
Impressive manual labor, 5,000 lbs of beautiful potatoes!!! And you do make it look easy and with lots of cheerfulness too. God bless all of you there, take care💝.
I can sure tell '''it is so verey important to keep mom happy ''she does a grate job of keeping yall guys fed ''we all can tell you dont upset the cook she sure is a blessing 'to yall please tell her how much she is '''my mother was the same i sure miss here '''again a grate video ''
We have October holidays on in Scotland just now and in the past 8t was known as the potato picking holiday. I am just waiting on a couple days of clear weather and get to hand pick just over 1/4 acre of potatoes. With any luck should have 600 to 1000 lbs hopefully more
I happened to just stumble onto your channel and I’m so glad I did. You guys are so entertaining. Love your whole family. We are practically neighbors- Long Island New York 🥰🌈🌞
Hey there Andrew, I love the way you used pallets for the calf pens! I’ve never had success with tomatoes this late in the season, I wish you could ship me some vine ripe tomatoes 🍅 yours look so good. Joel has the best personality, I love Joel’s last tomato of the season celebrations 🎉 I just wish he could ship me a few 😂 I think I’m going to take a toed trip next year just to visit you veggie boys/girls veggie stand/store. Stay safe guy’s and keep well!
Love horses and gardening . Is their any tomatoes seeds its called them heart tomatoes all the seeds inside a bunch around the core inside and looks like a heart shape. We don’t let anyone except our family to pick any vegetables because we don’t damage plants .
I suggest, making a list of the things you plant and putting it in the SHOW MORE section and add it to every new video going forward.... then you can refer to the list below =D
Thanks for sharing and tell your wife she does not have to cover her mouth. She is a very perry girl. I mean this with all respect and no harm. Have a great safe day. Thanks again!! PS: I really enjoy watching you all and the way your family all work together.
Have you thought about working with an organization like Second Harvest that repurposes left over or imperfect produce to folks and shelters in need? Might not be doable due to your rural location. Great looking potato harvest. Hope you all have a blessed day 💕
I would really like to see how you dig the potatoes out of the ground! Do you do it by a machine? I am really curious on how farm machines work. Your channel is great! Stay safe, stay sane, be well
My word, that was many bushels of taters you all picked by hand!!!! Are the Eva potatoes good keepers? I know you said they were great for fries and chips. Veggie Farmers don’t have an “off” season, you just switch to another crop or species in your case. Love your videos.
One of my favorite parts of the video is when we get to see what’s for supper. Who is the brunette that helped your wife with the brooder? We’ve seen her a couple of times, but don’t know anything about her. Is she family or employee? Will the new turkey chicks be harvest weight in 6-7weeks? Sorry I have so many questions. Have a fabulous week Veggie Boys & Domestic Retailing Girls!✌🏻
We're very fortunate here on the Ms. Coast that we have a farm who has 2 locations with around 150 acres of U- Pik veggies. Most everything is 11.00 a bucket with the exceptions of corn, melons, and a few other things. It's my go to for my canning veggies, they've started a fall veggie drive thru this year. I need to get there to re-fill some of the things I used over the summer.
I totally get what you mean about not letting strangers on your fields...I've seen what's happening on farms around the world I watch the ice age farmer... Other thing, I'm amazed how you grow potatoes so well in such rocky soil.
You are “America’s Family”. Does my heart good to watch your vids.
Dad is by far my favorite. This whole family cracks me up:)
I love the editing on these videos...in amongst the info and updates there's always the little quips and cheekiness, just little snippets of everyone's day...it's great. Very enjoyable. :D

I was raised on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania we had two huge gardens I used to love ❤️ picking potatoes 🥔. I hate to shuck 🌽 or pick peas.

You DON'T work for fun; but you can have fun working. In fact if you enjoy your work, you will never have a job
I wish that we had digital movie cameras when I was a small crops farmer from 1960 to 1990.
Wouldn't it be great to look back on now ?
That would be wonderful
You guys are a real delight to watch you guys work....lol

I picked potatoes in the field for 1 day 40 years ago. The baskets had wire handles. I still remember the pain from the wire pressing into my fingers.
Where did you buy the plastic basket you are filling with tomatoes? Thanks
OAG

When we moved from South Jersey out to Wyoming, Tastykakes were one of the things Mom missed most. Real Philly cheese steaks were another.
I'm from Bensalem PA. originally. I miss CHEESESTEAKS most of all.
What about culture ?
Yeah. When I moved to California same thing.

Lefty, can we see the horses some day?
You will
Grew up on a potato farm. We picked all by hand. 40 acres. We were some tired kids.
I love potatoes, threw a bucket of potato here please 😀💞
You know at the end of your videos the farm market sign always says the name of your farm why hide it , be proud of who you are 👍
I thought for sure you would be having for dinner, fried potatoes, french fries, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, baked potatoes, and peas.
And spam :D
Fill a Bell pepper with mashed potatoes and minced beef, top off with lots of good cheese. Sounds delicious to me. ☺😋
Peas.......lol Their favorite vegetable 😂
Get outta here with those peas
@@theveggieboys Well if more people started to peas we wouldn't have any more wars...
And yes... That was a corny dad joke. 🤣😂
What a beautiful vedio from sri lanka
I love your dad. It really it all about him haha.
We grow some stuff right next to out market and the times I have been asked "can we pick our own" is in the thousands!!

You should keep some food for yourselves for the days ahead. Remember I told you

Rock picker video working on that field is a must
luv it, thanks for posting.....
I just had a Russet potato that was as big as my foot. It took half a stick of butter and about a pint of sour cream.
