How do you clean and maintain your art brushes when working with traditional nail polish?

I'm not the original creator but with my brushes I just use nail polish remover in a little dish to clean them off. If it's a flat brush I press it under a heavy book so that the bristles dry flat and keep a clean edge. Thin brushes can be shaped with your fingertips while they're wet to keep a small point.
