Great tips brother! I just picked up a 2020 TaoTao 50 that sat long enough for the gas to go bad. I cleaned the carburetor & jets and now it runs, but it misfires past 1/2 throttle. I might not have cleaned the main jet all the way. The handle bars wobble like crazy too so I need to readjust & tighten that bolt & nut that you displayed here. Great video! Happy scooting!
Got my first scooter a week ago and mannnn! maintenance on this thing has been a blast! compared to a motorcycle I'm actually having fun. and I notice aswell that the steering was off but seeing that it is this easy to fix I can't wait to do this in the morning to it! Thanks buddy, helped me out. A car whacked into my niu electric scooter and there was no way to get it fixed where I lived. This showed me the fix. Thanks.
I know you posted this a while ago. But hopefully u can answer a question for me. I just bought a 150cc scooter and after putting the front tire on an the bolt u loosened to align it better. Would that cause my front tire to keep locking up? It looked like aligned right and tire is on right but spins then locks up an handle bars seem to tighten up
My scooter was slightly hit by a car and fell over, now whenever I pull the gas to go faster the handle of the scooter pulls to the right. I will try to see if its misallignment with the front tire, or maybe the rear tire?
I had a crash on a honda pcx, now when i turn right the bike feels unstable like it will low-side, the bike leans over to the right too fast compared to the left, what could be causing this? My mechanic where i live has already charged me £800 so far and the bike is still not fixed

What did it feel like when you noticed the steering was off? Kinda stiff when you turn or like a low air tire?

Does a messed up wheel alignment feel like a tyre with low air or like stiff when you turn?

my bolt there only hold steering wheel on has nothing to do with alignment
The other way I saw on another video is to unscrew the bolt on the tire itself that is at the center of the tire held by the fork.
What are you cleaning it with?

There is a 32mm lock nut and collar ring that you can adjust below the bolts he is doing.
Mine didn’t budge much. I’m probably being too picky about it.
